Thank you for your recent correspondence. It is possible to deactivate a system manually via the Account Management feature on your PlayStation 3. As your PSN account can only be linked to 5 PlayStation systems at any one time, it is highly recommended that you deactivate your account on any PlayStation 3 systems that you are not using. A step by step guide on deactivating your PSN account can be found below:- Log into your PlayStation Network Account via your PlayStation 3- Navigate to the PlayStation? Network column- Select the Account Management option- Select System Activation- Select PS3 System- Select Game- Select Deactivate SystemOnce you have disassociated your account from the PlayStation 3, you will be able to reactivate the account on an alternate PS3 System.I hope that this information is helpful, but if you should have any further queries, then please call the Network Gaming Careline on 08702 422 299 (national rate) where a member of our team will be happy to help you further. Please quote your Reference Number: 1790567 Our operating hours are between 8am - 10pm Monday to Friday, and 10am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday.Yours sincerely,

FEB 15(ME ON PHONE)
so i called them he asked for detials he even asked for the new ps3 slim serial number of which i gave yet somehow they come up with this utter piece of rubbish...

FEB 16(SONY)
Dear Sir/Madam,You recently contacted PlayStation Support regarding your PlayStation Network account. The maximum number of PS3's that your PSN account can be associated with at any one time is 5. The reason we allow accounts to be active on up to 5 PS3 systems is so that you may continue to access your PSN account on a replacement console should you be unlucky enough to require one. It is very unlikely that you'd ever require 5 exchanges so performing resets are very rare, and as mentioned, only requested upon an account reaching the maximum of 5 associated PS3 systems. As our records do not show that you have had to exchange your PS3 system through our Support Team on 5 occasions, we will not be able to request an authorised console limit reset. If however you are able to provide proof of exchange via a third party with receipts or insurance claims, we shall reconsider your request.I trust that this information is useful. Should you have any further hardware related queries please contact PlayStation Support on 0844 736 0595, quoting reference 100216-001314, where a member of our team will be happy to assist you.Best regards,Gary Stroud

Well did you Download Content onto other consoles? do you gameshare? It seems that they have tried to answer your question without making it too personal, But luckily i have never needed to ring them up so perhaps i'm not the best for giving advice...2010-02-17 12:14:00
