A couple Simple Suggestions

Archive: 5 posts

1) Why not the ability to Name Your own created objects. Unless I'm missing something, there is no way to give your own object a name or description when you create it, so when you browse "My Objects", you can easily identify it.
2) Another useful tool would be to find out what material something is made of. When I open up one of the Objects from the game or a community object, i never know what it's made of. I try to keep my materials limited to about 5 or so when creating levels to help limit thermo, and knowing what something is made of will save me time.

You can name your items, just press square on it and click on the underlined name text!2010-02-16 22:59:00

Like FuzzballFox said, you can name your own objects. Personally I don't have the problem you have with not knowing what community objects are made of because I like to make all my own stuff. But not everyone is me and I can see how this would be helpful for a lot of creators out there who are thermo conscious.2010-02-17 09:36:00

1 is easy to do, they explained it above

2 would be a neat feature.

It'd also be cool if we could create categories in our my objects page (eg. Characters, Logic, Glitched stuff, Cars, Annoying sack-eating sea creatures, Scenery .etc)

Matimoo, that is also a very good suggestion, giving categories to your objects. Well done. Also, for the other replies, thanks for letting me know I can name my own objects, I thought I pressed everything, but evidently I did not.2010-02-17 15:28:00
