yes...half broken. i played some fat princess,then tried to play LBP...froze.restarted machine manually,tried again...but WAIT no disc icon...but the blue light is there...i stay off for an hour and the icon comes back...but it either freezes or says error 8000-something(not rly something) and ps3 disc NO workie...i tried several other discs nothing but fat princess is fine! WTF is wrong!and does it have to be fixed

this will probably have to be moved to help. regardless... You might wanna back up your HDD now...this might be a precursor to something worse. I can't say for certain what's wrong. The disc-reading lens might be dirty, and need cleaning...do your other psn games work? Does a game disc besides LBP work?
