Corner Editor Adjustments
Archive: 5 posts
A lot of people use the corner editing tool, it needs to be improved. -Corner locking I often make be using the corner editor for making scenery like rocks and the ground. What's really difficult is that if your trying to make a rock evenly line of with the hilly ground you made, you have to corner edit each side of the rock to fit the ground. What I suggest is that you can turn on an option to have the corner editor lock onto corners, as in, if your trying to make a rock line up with the ground...the convex material you are moving will snap to the concave material of the ground, so the rock will line up perfectly with the ground it's on. (I understand that you can use the ground and cut the rock to the perfect shape, but some may come to the situation that the ground is already built and connected to many pieces of other things such as tree scenery, and would be risky to cut the rock.) -Faster! The corner editor is very slow, and zooming out has little effect on how fast it goes, it would be nice if the corner editor would move a lot faster if you zoom out. (I also understand that you can push R1 and L1 to switch corners quickly while editing a a corner, but this doesn't help much if you need to move the cursor to the semi-middle part of the material you are editing.) -Smaller Cursor Some creations can be very complex, the cursor is too large to see what your editing, it seems a little pointless to have it so large up close, the cursor should only grow bigger at a distance. | 2010-02-16 03:53:00 Author: warlord_evil Posts: 4193 |
I concur. The slowness drives me nutso! | 2010-02-16 04:01:00 Author: comphermc Posts: 5338 |
In the PSP version of the game the corner editor is vastly improved. The cursor moves faster, and you can select multiple points on a shape! That said, the cursor is still large, and with the inclusion of the 'multiple points' tool, the cursor is not bound to the shape. | 2010-02-16 05:27:00 Author: FlipMeister Posts: 631 |
I agree! We need those improvements. | 2010-02-16 08:59:00 Author: Kern Posts: 5078 |
Yeah this needs improvement!! I would love to so you can select multiple points as SirAsphalt90 mentionend. Don't know how the PSP-version works but it would be perfect if you drew a box around the points you would want to edit. Or maybe have a "shift"-button (as in Illustrator and other vector-graphics program) so you can select multiple points individually by holding the "shift" button when selecting 'em. | 2010-02-16 10:22:00 Author: Tamland Posts: 106 |
