Go to tools, and there is a slider for water level, water colour, Waviness, etc. Presuming you bought the pack... :kz:2010-02-15 17:27:00

Not like I can do much with only water anyway. I can't use objects, stickers, materials, etc. I didn't even know it would work. It sounded stupid that they would lock out everything BUT water, plus, multiple people said they tried it and it didn't work. (Which I don't get because it did...) Let's just put this behind us. I don't even think I've been here for a week and don't feel like making enemies with people already.2010-02-15 20:01:00

Dont go off on him, he didn'y do any thing. And you have to forgive people for there sins if he/she (why would i know) DID in fact steal something you are supposed to forgive them and they can forgive themselfs. No one should take blame of past actions. Read the Bible, it helps in life.

don't send me negative rep for trying to keep the law.

Who are you to try to enforce the law? Are you one of those people who sees someone speeding on the highway and deliberately gets in front of them so they'll have to obey the speed limit? I'm not going to try to justify what he did, but I'm not going to try to condemn it either. I really just don't think it's a big deal and it's certainly not worth all this attention.

And what makes you so sure it was him that gave you negative rep? You don't think there's anybody else who would disapprove of you following him from thread to thread pointlessly harassing him?

Whether he was trying to enforce the law or not is immaterial. I'm presuming from this and other discussions that KernelM is simply trying to remind members that LBPC does not condone any possibly illegal behaviour, whether justified or not. Exploitation, game sharing and other things may not be strictly illegal, but their use and abuse is questionable.

KernelM's methods may be open to question, but his heart and morals are in the right place. The only 'law' around here are the moderators and administrators, but members have a responsibility to behave within the rules that they set.

Indeed...but isn't one of them to be respectful? LBGamer said he was gonna buy the pack in the future - because its now on a forum, that could count as written evidence in a court system (assuming someone printed it out), and so people could point to that and say "hey, you need to do this".

As far as I know, though, testing to see if a bug/glitch/exploit/whatever you want to call it is a gamer's job: to see if it works or if the system is broken. Now, if he reports this to Mm, he would be doing the right thing by letting them know about it.

-looks up-

I think the point I was really trying to make is, "he's gonna buy the pack. So long as he does quickly, it all works out in the end." I'm not saying he should purposefully exploit the system, but I believe that he did part of his job as a player. -shrug-

So, really...is it wrong to steal? Yes. Is it wrong to see if a bug works and exploit it? If it takes a company outta money or makes something unfair, yes.

But then, there's a completely different argument some people would make....-shudder-

In short, report this find, LittleBigGamer, and buy the pack.

IMHO it's debatable whether TheLittleBigGamer really did anything wrong, but regardless of this, KernelM already made his point quite clearly in the other thread. His off-topic harrassment derailing this thread is way over the line, no matter how well he meant it.2010-02-18 10:21:00

Agreed.

@ Castleland... we don't usually display such bad form here at LBPC. I hope your questions were sufficiently answered. If not, we will (hopefully) get this thread back on track and be glad to further assist. Please let us know - many here are happy to help. I do hope these outbursts have not soured you on the LBPC experience.

I answered the question. What more do you want? I'm so sick of being polite to people who don't deserve it, I am not refering to littlebiggamer, but as mentioned in a pm to sehven I've been quite stressed recently by certain members of this site, so I am sorry for these outbursts.

And by the way, You spelt Calm wrong.

There are world-options that weren't there before you bought the "pirates of the caribbean".
And there is a tool similar to the "global-light" for the water.

Hopefully you've found the tools in the global settings part of the tools bag. The water settings are underneath the global lighting and fog settings, so at first sight they might not be visible. Scroll down to "water level" and use the right stick to change the level in small amounts or the d-pad to change it in large amounts (the camera will track the water level so you can see what it looks like). You can change the colour and clarity of the water too - these are pretty self-explanatory, but you still need to use the right stick.

Use the global water object to change water properties throughout your level. You can adjust these settings just like in the tools bag, and a preview will appear so you can check. These global water objects can be activated by switches like anything else. Hope this helps
