Run, jump and solve puzzles, in the hope that you'll meet the semi-divine Orange! I put lots of effort into this level. It has unique obstacles and some humour. It also has a generic pirates theme. It currently has 3 stars and 90 plays, so I would like to know if it needs more direction or not. So have fun and I hope you enjoy! I'll add pics if I get the chance.

Brilliant!
Loved the puzzles, loved the characters, loved the length, loved the orange my lovely. Puzzles and platforming both done really nicely. Some physics based movements as well and lots of variety.

Few suggestions:
Bug1--The puzzle with the two horizontal moving pillars - you can running jump from the lower pillar over to the handle on the left. You arent supposed to be able to get there until you have the block on the right.
Bug2--The explosive cutscene. I got totally stuck here. I managed to bring the platforms down low, but I couldnt find any way to get on them. I assume i need something in the water to jump off. I eventually got past here by managing to detonate the small little bomb just above the water level. Without that I would have been totally screwed here.

Great level 5*
F4F - arena of the gladiators - you'll need a partner/opponent

I played this a while ago, great level, unique puzzles.

Problems:

1. enemies. PLEASE make your own. it worth it, trust me. Maybe orange soldiers with spears and helmets?

2. The king. Id try and decorate it a bit more, maybe a crown? You could even make a custom orange out of cardboard and stickers or something. The throne wasn't that grand either, i know you probably meant for the king to look like a wimp, but having a tiny orange on a big grand throne would make the effect better

Just played this and I enjoyed it very much! Some really nice platforming ideasI hadn't seen before, with a lot of switch pulling and button pressing action to top it all off. Visuals were good too, didn't detract too much from the gameplay but still looked nice. Couldn't say much wrong with it - I enjoyed playing

@TheAdipose, for Bug 2, you can jump from the water to the platform. I'm not sure what Bug 1 is.

@PaddyJ, I SUCK EPICALLY at character design, but i'll try next time.

Thanks for the feedback.

I hit a glitch as well, after the part where you lift the 2 sponge balls up to trigger the 2 switches. I didn't know what to do and so I backtracked and pulled a lever which lowered the water, making it impossible to get back up to the ledge since I already moved the 3 blocks. Pulling the switch to try and raise the water back up didn't do anything either.2010-02-17 01:21:00

Very cool level. I really like all the moving wooden machinery parts. The combination of puzzles and platforming works really good. Good pacing, gameplay that does not get boring. Something new around every turn. Some elements (like the wheel that starts turning after you push the red button, and you have to time it to get on top of it) felt new to me.

I found one glitch: I managed to explode the second stash of explosives by accidentely dropping down on them, instead of solving the puzzle with the pipes.

Also, I rather liked the orange-king on his throne.
All in all: a cool and challenging level.

If you have the time for F4F, it would be great if you could give feedback on my first level: 'Lady Masquette and the puzzle garden' by pickled-punk.

@roflwaffle, i'll make it a oneshot switch. Thanks for reporting the glitch. When you activate the two buttons and three magnetic switches, a door opens. I'll add a speech bubble.

@pickled-punk, I remove the impact explosive.

Thanks for the feedback.

Bonner, you have a knack for some very interesting gameplay. There are some obstacles in here that I have never seen before! I liked the level overall, a few minor problems. In the beginning I found it confusing which way to go after hitting a few of the switches...maybe a cutscene camera would help? Also the three keys that float up got trapped when I needed the first one for a boost up onto the platform, but that probably doesn't happen every time.

All in all a great and FUN level. I really enjoyed it! 5 Stars and a Fun tag! Thanks

The Drowned Dungeon by bonner123

I enter the level and see a nicely decorated pool with neat spinning wheels (though the music, if you can call it that, needs a lot of work; there's this obnoxious gurgling sound...). i hop up to the platform, pull the switch and.... what happened? might want a cutscene here. Anyway, it seems that it rose the water. It's a (very) minor annoyance that i have to use the lift again to get the checkpoint, but still an annoyance. I really like this style with all of the wooden spinning wheels and stuff, and that box is cute! Flipped the switch, then it took me a minute to get going on the path. Maybe make the platform you need to hop on a little longer? I went across and up, and i got squished by the bringing down the stairs. Was that intended? I went up the stairs and across, and... the sponge makes a gross squishy sound when grabbing it. Anyway, used the two sponges, and fell down. Hit the button and progressed through the obstacle, the music is much nicer here. I really liked the switch next to the wheel part, that was a really fun mechanic. Surely you can make your own enemies now? it would be so much better... The wheels thing was very cool, though complicated by two players. Continue on past some nice obstacles, and come to a Jamu-Jamu sticker switch. I wonder what it is? The cutscene button alcove needs a light, it was very hard to see the button... More good obstacles, but the electric cylinders were quite hard (probably due to 2 players in the party). It was quite dark after the water rose, and after it did it took us some time to figure out where to go. Also, can the circle which you push out of your way next to the water level switch just before the checkpoint be turned grabbable? (it was hard to move it) Now, continuing on, the blocks with switches on them seem absolutely pointless; we just used one as a stepping tone then carried on. Ah, they're used later on in the level. One thing though: your water is *very* dark making it hard to see what to do. Perhaps add water-switched LEDs to your level? Aaaaand thats it. We scoured the area but could not figure out what to do. I had to quit, and it was such a good level up to that point.

Overall: 3 stars
Sound: 3.5 stars (really should work on the start and one or two sounds, but other than that it's good)
Gameplay: 4 stars (great right up to the point i got stuck)
Visuals: 4 stars (very good style)

+Great level with lots of puzzles and jumping and grabbing, not too hard, but not too easy. Also good little story and water stuff.
-Please try to make own charaters in game it's really rewarding

I had this bug that at allmost at the end(just before going to the orange's tower) there is soldier that comes down stairs and I can't kill it after that it gets there.

Please F4F if you have time.
