I wonder what the original creator of Distress in Ocean was thinking when he made that level copyable. Because he just gave a large amount of noobs and H4Her's something to steal and use for themselves. The cool pages are filled with them! Why give a good level to noobs? They should make good levels themselves!!!!!

They were probably thinking in the same naive way that a lot of creators were thinking, in that people would copy the level to look at the mechanics, and not steal it as their own. Unfortunately, the latter happened, and while i'm pretty sure the original is no longer copyable, there are still copies of it that are copy free out there =/ The same thing happened with a lot of levels.

I think the "Copyable" option should be renamed to better reflect its real function. Something like "Allow spamming" or "Allow other people to republish as their own".

I think copied levels should not be republishable except by the original creator/s. Is that possible to implement by Mm or Sony ?

He probably figured it had so much attention that he might as well.... I also saw the level "the fireman between heaven and hell" or something like that (old level) published as a new level "to hell and back" by a different creator on page 1 a couple days ago..... I started playing it and I thought "wow.... I played this over a year ago!". Funny thing is, as with Distress in Ocean - not NEARLY as impressive nowadays. I had no idea how much a few of those levels had aged.

Yeah, Thats why i don't ever look on the highest rated, Because i know... I Know that there will be at least 1 copied version of a decent level. Thank god that logic pack didn't make their intro levels copyable

I think this was made way very early possibly in the beta (Haven't actually checked when it was made since we got that info bit on the recent patch, so I could be dead wrong). So either he wanted to show everyone how it was made, or he never realized people could steal it in an attempt for free hearts
