A Few Annoyances With Groups

Archive: 9 posts

Myself and the Sackinima team are heavily using the group feature on this site, seeing as it's almost like a mini forum now. I've found a few little things that I think should be changed to make using and browsing a group easier.

Firstly, the column containing the date of the latest post seems to be only capable of saying "week". Say if something was posted within the last hour - it would say "1 Week Ago". If something was posted two days ago it would say "2 Weeks Ago". And so on...

Secondly, when clicking a topic it will direct you to the first post, when pretty much all the time we want to go to the latest post instead.

Lastly, I was wondering why isn't BB Code allowed in the group description? 'Twould be useful.

Thanks.

Hmm, in my Group the last post always shows the date that the actual discussion was formed.

Have you seen the small double arrow next to the last person who posted? Click that and it'll take you to the last post.

I unno about everything else, but when you subscribe, it appears in your "User CP"... or rather Settings now. Click Settings in the upper right, it'll have notifications there.

I didn't notice the 1 week = 1 day and 2 weeks = 2 days thing, until now . Lol but i do think the groups should be switched back to how they were with the last posted first.2010-02-15 10:52:00

Oh I see! Well that's not much help, we need the date of the last post!

I like how it's set out and I think we don't need to go to the other system, But fix the dates if you can.2010-02-16 06:07:00
