First time LBP playing and Loading error

Archive: 2 posts

I rentted LBP for my son. I am using the UMD version for the PCP 3000. I rented the game for my son but am having trouble playing it unless he plays it without a memroy card.

When we pull up the spot to select the game, there is a UMB update icon and we updated to I think 6.0 or .2, something like that. Then we go to the game and select "x" to start it. It allows us to check the american flag and the little circle starts in the bottom left hand corner. Then it will stop and freeze and not allow him to go any further.

My son took out the memory stick and the game will now load to a level and not allow him to save or to choose a level as I think some other treads say you should be allowed to do right from the start.

I tried erasing the entire memory stick to get rid of any corrupted files as some other posts have generally said.

If anyone can please help, it would be greatly appreciated so that my son does not have to start over each time he turns on the psp.

Once again the freezing only occurs if the memory stick is in and after we start loading the disc.

I notice that when I choose the Square that there is any update select besides starting the game. My son has a 32mg memory card and the game update says that the disk size is too small.

If someone could please email some help at jamielynnclark@hotmail.com, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Jamie

32 megabyte memory stick? I wouldn't be surprised if that was your problem right there. Try a bigger one.2010-02-15 12:12:00
