A New Hop by tsr13 (PSP) [Video added!]

Journey into space and destroy the Empire's terrifying new weapon! (Episode IV in the Star Bores saga.)

After crash landing your escape pod on a desert planet, you meet up with an eager (but slightly immature) young lad and head out on an epic adventure. Explore the bleak landscape, learn special mind powers, and drive a hovering speeder... but watch out for undergarment vendors! Finally, blast off into space with a cuddly co-pilot and come face to face with the Empire in your very own star fighter. Will you be victorious?

I've wanted to give Star Wars the LBP treatment for a long time, and here it is. This level has been in the making for quite a while, and I'm happy with the finished product. It started out with me just having fun making vehicles and scenery. I then made a few ships, then some more ships, a bit more scenery, and finally some ships. I took a lot of breaks from creating to reference the original movie, and I worked hard to make it look and feel like you are playing through the film. Of course I could not fit every last detail from Episode IV into a single level, but I got pretty close. In the end, this level represents a boiled-down version of all the scenes and visual impressions that stick in my head after watching my #1 favorite movie of all time.

Have fun and let me know what you think. Thanks for playing!

EDIT: Now with PQQ! (Pictures of Questionable Quality)

EDIT #2: And now even with video! Only took me 5 months to do it.

Ah! I'm very excited about this. I posted in cloudstrife's thread about building an AT-AT, which I'm going to do as soon as I've finished working on my current level, which is about 3/4 done - or so my thermo tells me.

Can't wait to see what you've done.

Another great level. I love how you can tell a story with comedy without making it seem stupid. This is your best level yet. Lol-hologram lady. Are you making more Star Bores levels because this level was amazing and hilarious. Please continue this series.2010-02-13 19:33:00

And yes, I am planning on continuing the series. I've got a couple pages of notes for Episode V... now to find the time to work on it.

Fantastic usage of stickers.
By the way, what's up with you and space? ;D

Anyways, you've done very well and its amazing that you made a level based on Star Wars.

To be honest, but I didn't expect any expert creators to make a level like this.

Once again, Terrific Work!

Fantastic level! You've done a great job recreating parts of the film so faithfully - the R2D2 and little fighters were expecially nice, as was the speeder. The interior of the Death Star was stunning, too, thought I thought the music in that section somehow didn't seem quite right. The plot moved along really seamlessly (which is something I'm having difficulty with now I'm working on a full level so I can finally appreciate what an acheivement that actually is) and the parody was very well pitched.

All in, I predictably gave you :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart.

I've pretty much got the mechanics works out, as I have something that is essentially the same machine in my current level, only aesthetically totally different a bit smaller (but still massive). I hope to have it finished tomorrow (fingers crossed).

I must say that was a fantastic level the designs were pretty amazing too though 1 spot felt really out of place to me was with the wood platforms it just felt like you just tacked that on but overall it was a great level 5 stars and a heart.2010-02-13 20:38:00

I don't want to spoil the story for anyone who's not yet played it, but I think that was the point. It was a kind of LBP metaparody.

Really great level!
Nice Gameplay, looks amazing (wow at corner editing and stickers!) and the story is very well implemented too!
one question: What material is it that you used at your dull star? (the grey concrete one) Did i really miss something or do you have the collectors edition? i thought i had them all...

Edit: ok i know what i did wrong... *acing-some-levels-now*

Ah, the music. That's one of those things I agonize over - sometimes for hours - until I decide what I want. Then usually, I change it the next day anyway. I got lucky that "Taking Off" sounds very Star Wars-ey, but there is nothing that sounds enough like the Imperial March to make me happy. I'd pay $20 for the original John Williams score... (Mm, are you listening? ) In any case, thanks for the kind words and I'm happy you enjoyed the level.

OMG!!!!! I've been waiting for a decent Star Wars level for ages and when I saw you'd done one, Taffey, I knew It would live up to my hops and expectations.
Five stars, heart and your declaration of undying gratitude is well deserved.Excellent, I was hopping that you'd like it.

Ooh, I just realised, you called your level codename "77" on my topic. 1977 was the year "A New Hope" was released. Am I right? (nicely riddled if I am)Check out the big brain on famouscustard! I thought "66" was both too obvious and not retro enough, and "77" seemed fitting. You win a cookie!

For what it's worth, which is not very much, I probably would have used Hessian House of Horrors for that section.

I got a little stressed out today trying to reduce some lag in the dramatic bits - too many moving parts on screen at once, I think, so I didn't make as much progress as I'd intended. I might even go slow on it for a couple of days and try to build an AT-AT for a diversion. Unfortunately, I'm fairly convinced the one-leg-at-a-time movement is pretty much impossible, (unless anyone has any sugestions for how to do it?) so it'll have to walk like a normal quadruped.

Hey Taffey,

I just want to share a humiliating story that demonstrates the scale of humor in this level. I was eating dinner and playing A New Hop at the same time: horrific combination. The level opens with a few chuckles here and there, and I unassumingly drank Coke when the Chewbacca-esqe character made the Wookiee call. Coke ran down my nose as I tried to hold my laughter in, but I just couldn't control myself...

What I like about your humor is that it isn't limited to text bubbles: it's the whole package. From the intro to the ending and from something as small as a sound to the overarching plot, laughter can be found at all levels of organization. This brings up another point: this level is impeccably well organized. Everything seemed to have a purpose and a sense of belonging, and nothing looked liked you just "winged it". Cohesiveness is an understatement here. This not only includes the art of stickering and the layering of sounds, but pacing as well.

Pacing is always something I have struggled with, and I'm sure others have too if they're even aware of it, and this level is a case in point when it comes to good pacing. You divide active platforming sections with passive, yet exciting, sections that include thrilling vehicles and interactions with amusing characters (the one with Speedo was my favorite ).

Your characters also seemed to have a lot of depth to them, which is quite impressive considering you had a full cast. Your description of the main character--the "eager (but slightly immature) young lad"--was spot on, and I love how these multiple personalities give more dimension to him. The Princess character was also well developed as the hologram scene towards the beginning shows she had a motivation for depicting herself that way . Again, your stickerwork with these characters are so clean and seamless that sometimes I pulled out the sticker tool to figure out if your characters were a composite or a single sticker.

As for criticism, well, your meticulous construction leaves me no choice but to pick on the smallest of things . The rocks you placed for the scenery in the Speeder section looks a bit bland and flat. You've tastefully stickered almost everything in your level, but those rock formations seemed to lack dimension. But hey, I'm sure no one will notice, except me!

In terms of plot and organization, this would have to be my favorite level of yours. It's funny that this has been published for only a day, and it is already on page 3 of highest rated. By the end of this weekend, I'm sure it will shimmy on up to the first page, along with your other levels where it belongs . Here's another 5:star:s and a level heart. And of course, I hearted you from the very beginning!

Thanks as always for your incredibly detailed feedback! Thanks also for testing my earlier beta version - all of your excellent suggestions really helped me in key parts of this level.

Cohesiveness is an understatement here. This not only includes the art of stickering and the layering of sounds, but pacing as well.I love it when you play my levels, because you notice all the little things that I simply had to put in there. There are dozens of sound effects I added here and there I didn't think anybody would notice, but I'd know if it wasn't right and just couldn't leave it be.

As for criticism, well, your meticulous construction leaves me no choice but to pick on the smallest of things . The rocks you placed for the scenery in the Speeder section looks a bit bland and flat. You've tastefully stickered almost everything in your level, but those rock formations seemed to lack dimension. But hey, I'm sure no one will notice, except me!You're right, and honestly I wasn't 100% happy with those either. Fortunately you don't get much time to look at them. Apparently, there is a maximum amount of stickers you can put in a level... and I seem to have found it! I was planning on shading those rocks but only able to sticker two of them and wasn't able to place any more. I actually had to remove a few other stickers here and there throughout the level in order to complete some of my other stickering work - such as adding missing eyebrows to Luke. As with the PS3 version, there seem to be multiple thermometers. My sticker one was maxed out but I was still able to place lots of score bubbles and connectors with no problem. In any case, I digress. Feedback noted - good catch indeed!

Oh how I enjoyed this game. As always, spot on with the humor, some of your jokes are EXACTLY how I would have implemented them, (princess, ha ha) And as for Jeffcu's mentioning of chewies voice ha ha ha ha ha ha so with you there..where on earth did you get that sound Taffey??? That for me was the highlight of the game, such a simple thing, yet blooming GENIUS!!!!!!!!! (A few more explanation marks me thinks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I liked the way all the puzzles were clearly hinted at, though it made it very easy to work out what to do/where to go...is that a criticism, not sure.
Loved the speeder....is that stuck to an invisible piece of glass? if so how did you get around the invisible glitch not working anymore??
No one has mentioned the storm trooper heads, brilliant, at first glance i wondered if they were from some down loadable content I hadn't heard about till i looked more closely.

Why no c3po?

Loved the two ships at the end, only place I died, (though the wife managed it, how embarrassing!)

Weird you had issues with stickers, never had that other than too many stickers on one individual piece of material.

Jabber the hut type dude, funny!

Can't think what else to say that hasn't already been said. A very predictable and well deserved 5STARS and another heart, how the heck do you get SO many plays SO quickly???

Looking forward to the next!

Just finished playnig this level (for the third time!) And I have to say its your best effort yet! It gave the vibes of a true story level with the depth and charm of the characters. My personal favorite moment was saving the princess. (Wasn't she pretty? ) It had some great platforming sections, great humour, great everything! You have a definite skill for storytelling!
Overall this level deserves 6 stars! But... unfortunately thats not possible... so :star::star::star::star::star:. Looking forward to completing the trilogy,

Oh how I enjoyed this game. As always, spot on with the humor, some of your jokes are EXACTLY how I would have implemented themNow that is one of the best compliments I have received in a long time! You know how I like your sense of humor - I'm very happy indeed you thought it funny in the same way I did.

And as for Jeffcu's mentioning of chewies voice ha ha ha ha ha ha so with you there..where on earth did you get that sound Taffey??? That for me was the highlight of the game, such a simple thing, yet blooming GENIUS!!!!!!!!! (A few more explanation marks me thinks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL Exclamation marks make it more important!!!!!!!!!!! See!!!!!!!!! Hehehe. Yes, the sounds - my personal favorite details to mess with. I always say I should have been a movie sound effects person, but oh well. So the "Chewie" sound is a combination of two sound objects. The first is "Koala" tweaked one or two notches down in pitch (higher pitch for more agitated). The second is "Chimp 2" tweaked all the way low. Fun and easy!

I liked the way all the puzzles were clearly hinted at, though it made it very easy to work out what to do/where to go...is that a criticism, not sure.Yes, kind of an overarching design decision there. I definitely tend to err on the side of easy just to make sure people finish and see the whole story. I try to add score bubbles in slightly more challenging places so that platformy types have a little something extra to keep themselves occupied. But yes, you are definitely correct.

Loved the speeder....is that stuck to an invisible piece of glass? if so how did you get around the invisible glitch not working anymore??Yep, stuck to a terribly ugly little glass sled thing. I already had it built and adjusted how I liked it, so luckily I did not have to select the material again and un-invisify it. Fortunately, the patch does not affect currently existing invisible objects - it just prevents the creation of new ones.

No one has mentioned the storm trooper heads, brilliant, at first glance i wondered if they were from some down loadable content I hadn't heard about till i looked more closely. Thanks! I spent two full episodes of Dr. Who getting the proportions just right. If it's not just so they really do look terrible. I originally wanted dozens of storm troopers scuttling about the level in their oversized helmets, but the thermo beast killed them all. Each trooper takes half a tick on the thermo... Yikes!

Why no c3po?I built him! However, there were three problems. 1) He looked awful. Slightly better than something stuck to my shoe but worse than a moldy tomato. 2) He didn't cover up enough of the hologram. 3) I thought it would be amusing if I had the HAL/robot/computer from the Space Corps make a cameo.

Can't think what else to say that hasn't already been said. A very predictable and well deserved 5STARS and another heart, how the heck do you get SO many plays SO quickly???

Looking forward to the next! Thanks! I have no clue how I got that many plays so fast... I feel guilty like I should be giving them to other levels around here I think deserve the attention more. I guess there's enough people out there regularly checking to see what I've published that it just adds up.

I just played it. Great level Taffey. I think it would be funny if you somehow find a way to mash up your "Right Stuffing" series with this. Say they just noticed a My Moon?

Other than that, great gameplay. Although, there's a part where you're going on the spaceship up to the planet (which is boring ) that has a "glitch". I'm able to get out when I wait for it to reach the "space" part. Still, the rest is funny.

Hi, Taffey! I played your new level 3 times - first for pleasure and two more to understand how all that great things were madded. You did great job. I'm fun of Star Wars, I grow up with original trilogy (but in Russia episode 4 first time appeared in cinema only in 88-89 years, before it we had only pirate video cassettes with it) . You did many great details of original film, I loved it! It's looks very cool. You story and humour are top-quality. All level I was amazed of way, that you did it. You combine very cool parody story and very well done level design in one piece. I tilt head forward in bowing for you work! My great respect! You level now is favourite for me on Community Moon. Thanks again and of course 5 :star: and heart!
I will look for continue of this story with big impatience.

I couldn't play your level until past night, but believe when I say that I could harldy wait!

This is your best level so far, and that means a lot given the high quality of your previous levels. I would like to point out everything that I didn't like, because constructive criticism is the best way to learn. But "sadly", I can't name a single thing that I didn't like.

The artistic design is superb, with a perfect recreation of the movie sceneries and characters (I kept saying "Wow" and "I can't believe it" while playing through the level and meeting a new character or visiting a new place). The subtle use of the corner editor and the fearured stickers can't get any better than this.

As for the gameplay, it had the best pacing of all your levels, with a good amount of platforms, puzzles, secrets, cutscenes and surprises, everything in the proper measure and mixed with a natural flow.

Your sense of humor is a trademark of all your levels, and this one is no different. Funny dialogues, funny use of stickers (that real princess!!!), funny parodies from the movie scenes... Honestly, I couldn't stop laughing while playing the level. I wasn't sure how a parody of such a known movie would work out, but it was excellent.

I liked how most of the secrets were in plain sight, the mystery was to discover how to get there.

Well, I'm finally back from vacation, so I can comment on this remarkable level. I was lucky enough to have a chance to try the level out in advance, and it was already awesome back then, but man, the stuff that was added to the ending was incredible. I've never given feedback for a level that I got to preview, so I'm not really sure if I should go through the stuff I have told you before, or just talk about the added stuff... I guess I'll just go with the added stuff since you (Taffey) will probably be the only one that pays much attention to my post

So, the last time I was in this awesome level, the Death Star was a work in progress. It had a bit of a skeleton, but nothing inside, so it was a boring open area with a very very VERY ugly princess in it. I was actually under the impression that the level was going to just end there, so boy oh boy was I surprised to see the incredible ideas that you had in store for me.

The trash shoot part was awesome. I actually got a little frantic when it stated collapsing because I thought that I needed to climb up along the right hand side wall, but then I noticed stairs were forming. You did an awesome job with that!

In my feedback for the level, I told you that the intro was the best part by far. I just couldn't believe what a great job you did with it! But you outdid it with that awesome climax to the level. The whole ending was just PERFECT! It literally made the level for me! Major kudos to you for coming up with that concept and making it work so well.

Sorry for the short feedback, I could go on and on about what I have already told you, but I'm not sure that that would do much good for anyone I will be looking forward to your next level!

I guess I'll just go with the added stuff since you (Taffey) will probably be the only one that pays much attention to my post Works for me! Thanks again for helping me beta this and for providing so much valuable feedback and insight. You and jeffcu28 are rock stars for sure.

Oh, and welcome back! Are your ears still ringing from the (assumed) firecrackers?

The trash shoot part was awesome. I actually got a little frantic when it stated collapsing because I thought that I needed to climb up along the right hand side wall, but then I noticed stairs were forming.Cool, that's what I was going for. I didn't get a chance to have you test out the timing on that so I felt like I was rolling the dice a bit there with the gameplay. I wanted just a second or two of panic, followed by "oh whew, but I better hurry".

Sorry for the short feedback, I could go on and on about what I have already told you, but I'm not sure that that would do much good for anyone I will be looking forward to your next level! No thank you! All in all your feedback was quite lengthy, and I appreciate the time and effort that went into it. :hero:

Just got a chance to play it and I love it

I so look forward to your stuff on PSP - partially because I can actually finish them (lol) but mostly because they always make me laugh. Loved the sense of humor and the sticker work is awesome. Can't wait to see more of these!Glad you likey.

Episode V is on the way, although right now it's still very much just on paper. I haven't quite yet had the motivation to go into back into create mode - I'm in the "oh lord that's going to be a HUGE amount of work" part of the creation process.

Just played this level again - tremendous still on the second playthrough. But one thing that's really frustrating me is where that white stripey sticker on the Dull Star interior came from? I totally need that!2010-02-18 17:50:00

But one thing that's really frustrating me is where that white stripey sticker on the Dull Star interior came from? I totally need that! The sticker is called "Scissors". It's a pair of scissors cutting along a white dotted line - of course I only used the line part.

It's on the 8th row down in the "Doodles" section. If you have it sorted by theme, it's on row 11 of The Orient.

Plagiarize away!

Oh, that reminds me - in case you want to use it, I can show you how to make the Imperial symbol as well. That's assuming you haven't figured it out on your own already, which you probably did.

Warning! Stupid question alert!: How can i sort stickers/materials by theme? No worries - I had to ask the first time I needed to do that on the PS3.

Go into your stickers menu and press [square]. Move right one page by pressing R or right on the D-pad. And there you are, under "Organize Content" choose from category or theme. This is a great way to figure out what's in that add-on content pack you just bought. (Note: If you highlight the sticker edit tool before pressing [square], you will not need to move a page to the right.)

This process works on everything in the popit, including costume pieces, materials, etc.

Hi Taffey, I'm new here but have played and loved all your levels. I love replaying your Interwebs level often since I'm such a big Moopheus fan!

All I can say about A New Hop is WOW! That is my most favourite of all your levels so far and has to be one of the top PSP levels in general. I'm astounded at just how perfectly you recreated these Star Wars scenes! Your little R2-D2 is awesome! Not to mention the iconic death star - sorry - DULL star segments. However, I especially love your sense of humour which has brought all your levels to life!

I cannot wait for epsiode V. Taffey, you are a legend! Please, PLEASE keep your levels coming!

Brilliant! You just keep pushing the boundaries of your visuals further with every level, yet still find time to inject a good level of humour and varied platforming each time.

:star::star::star::star::star: and ♥'ed, yet again it was great fun.

I don't think there's much I can add at this point, except this is another amazing level, and another motivator to keep working on my own...

Oh, and the landing was almost as epic as the launch from the first Space Corps (still can't wrap my head around that one). That's one thing I need to learn, epic movie segments like those in your levels or ZEN...

Five stars for sure.

Thanks for all the plays and the great feedback everyone! You've really got me motivated to get working on Episode V. I have loads of notes and I'm just starting to work on my sticker concepts now.

Anyway, thanks again for playing and stay tuned!

Wow! This why lbp is so great. There were so many great things about this level. The humor, the mechanics, the level design, the platforming. This level was funny. The way you did Luke was priceless. Reminded me of Cartman from Southpark, even sounded like him hehehe.. The sand speeder looked perfect. And the puzzle platforming segment through the Jawa craft was clever and fun. The little details of the droids in the back were great. The storm trooper baddies were a nice touch and looked amazing. I nearly spit pepsi all over my psp when Speedo confronted me. Your segment with basic wood and endless stairs was well done. (dull star hehehe). I really dug the contrast in change after being sucked up the tracktor beam, you used cool materials and stairs that were fun to climb instead of the same old block block block.... Very funny. Apparently some people didn't get that. The Princess was quite the lass!! And blowing up Death Star was never more fun!! I also liked your bubble placement, I always dig going after bubbles if they are placed in good spots, and yours were easily accessible and fun to get to.

Great level Taffey! 5 stars and a heart!

Such a great level, please make more! Thanks, glad you like it!

I am slowly but surely coming along with Episode V. I've spent a bunch of time messing around with characters and getting them how I like them, and I think I finally have a direction for the story line. Well, ok so the story line is already there - what I mean is I now know how I'm going to make fun of it.

I've also got some ships made and the intro mostly done. Now beings the looooong process of actually making it a level!

After a looong wait without my LBP, finally I can play your new level and let me told you that you still beeing one of my favourite creators.
Your humor is really good, and I like a lot the gameplay that you give to your levels and this is not an exception.
Star Wars is one of my favourite sagas of all time and you have created a Little master piece of this wonderful universe, thanks for that Taffey .
Your spaceships are fantastic and that Star Bores intro... just for that you got 3.578/5 stars :hero:.
And one more time, like in your previou levels, your stickering is wonderful. All your creatures, including the green monitor from Space Corps , are really great.
Congrats Taffey, you have made another five star level.
I dont know if you?re going to read this because my feedback was too late:blush:, but one more time I gave you :star::star::star::star::star: and a heart.
.:See you soon creator:.:kz:

Taffy, I was surprised to learn that you are one of my favorite LBP creators. I have all your levels hearted.

This level is pure awesome. From start to finish its a entertaining ride. How long does something like this take to make for you? Give me a year and I still couldn't come close.

I'm pretty slow when it comes to create mode, so it takes me somewhere around 40 to 80 hours to create a PSP level. A New Hop was around 80, possibly more. Episode V is headed that direction as well, as I have about 8 hours invested in it already with only an intro and a couple character concepts to show for it.

I also spend a bit of time here and there throughout the day writing down random thoughts that come to mind, such as goofy dialog and other ridiculous ideas that make me laugh. My best ideas always seem to happen when I'm busy doing something else, like driving or being bored to death in a meeting.

Give me a year and I still couldn't come close.Heh, I'm not too sure about that! Treasure God is pretty epic and there's a lot of original stuff in there.

Taffy, sorry for the late feed back on this but I had something typed up and lost it.... Take two!

I knew this was a Star Wars level but was surprised at the title screen and opening movie, very well done. The transition from the small pod to the larger one was ingenious. Its amazing what you did with just a single layer of glass and a quick moving camera. Using the background with the floor was a great call and fit Tatooine. You also did a good job with all the small details you added. It came together perfectly. The vehicles and ships were detailed accurately and almost made me think you snuck in some new stickers. After a few plays I looked closer and saw how you put them together with different stickers as was even more impressed.

The story as always with you levels was entertaining. Your comic book style of putting the character on the walls of each scene was very clever. I have seen this in your other levels but this one was on a whole other level. The characters expressions helped sell the story and gave it some emotion. The wookie made me laugh, as did the princess reveal. The ending was good. I like the explosion.

I’ve always like playing your levels. There are easy but so well done that I’m always having fun. Your bubble placement adds replay value. With all the movement in your levels its nice that you take the time to make sure players don’t get lost or find themselves out of the level. For instance, the mound under the Sandcrawler was something some may not have done. I was however able to jump out of the level via the Millennium Falcon where the sky transitioned. The spaceship scene was cool but a little too easy and short. Maybe you could have added some hard to reach bubble combos to add a little intensity to that section.

Funny as I wrapping this up Im thinking about the things I liked but forgot to mention like the Storm Trooper Head enemies or the TV robot cameo. But if I included everything it would be a moment by moment account of your level. So let me finish by saying that this level was stellar and I can’t wait for the next one.

Hey Xenon!

Thanks so much for the feedback, and I'm really happy that you enjoyed your Star Bores experience. Detailed feedback like this is really valuable in so many different ways, the least of which is not that it helps keep me focused and heading in the right direction for future levels that I work on. At least once per create process cycle I sort of lose my purpose and have trouble figuring out what to do next. I often come back to posts like yours and read through all the comments again to help remind me what people liked, what they want more of, and what I could have done better. It really helps get me motivated and thinking outside the box. It also reminds me all over again why LBP is probably the best game I have ever played and really gets me excited to complete my next goofy adventure and inflict it on the masses.

That's a really long way of saying that I truly appreciate the time you (and everyone else) take to write up your thoughts. I've read your post 4 or 5 times already, and I'm sure I'll be coming back to it at least as many times again as I wrap up Episode V and dive into Episode VI.

I knew this was a Star Wars level but was surprised at the title screen and opening movie, very well done. The transition from the small pod to the larger one was ingenious. After a few plays I looked closer and saw how you put them together with different stickers as was even more impressed. It's especially nice to hear the detail on the vehicles didn't go unseen. I spent way too long on those, but I was just having fun and experimenting and seeing how much detail I could cram onto those little tiny things. I'd be afraid to know how many hours were spent simply scrolling through the sticker menu.... I might have it completely memorized at this point.

I was however able to jump out of the level via the Millennium Falcon where the sky transitioned.Ah, I wondered about that. I had theorized that it was possible but I tried a bunch of times and was never able to pull it off. Good find!

The spaceship scene was cool but a little too easy and short. Maybe you could have added some hard to reach bubble combos to add a little intensity to that section.I agree. I'm struggling with that right now in fact - trying to add interest to existing areas without changing the way the story unfolds and without adding much thermo. Regardless, that's a great point of feedback.

So let me finish by saying that this level was stellar and I can't wait for the next one.Hopefully you won't have to wait long. The thermo on my next level is way past the halfway mark, which is both good and bad. Good because it means I'm much more than halfway done, but bad because I'm going to be fighting against the thermo the entire rest of the time as I try to fit everything in.

Again, thanks for your kind words and for taking the time to post them here.
