| Do people actually know it's there? If you don't know what I'm talking about, then apparently that's true. Use the redirect on the forum root to head over to LittleBigCreation, our sister site, and if you haven't, sign on up over there. Especially once the game comes out, there'll certainly be a big draw over there. Stake your claims early, and now! There's an in-browser IRC tab over there, but you'll need to be signed in a LBPCreation account to access it. At any rate, I've checked in the IRC quite a number of times, and every time it ends up being just Bot and I. And needless to say, Bot isn't exactly the greatest company. I think the reason for this is probably that people just don't know the channel's there, so there aren't any people there, and the few that do check in get driven away by the emptiness. So yeah, if you've got some time on your hands you'll be spending around the forums, be sure to check in there, and sit around long enough so that people can join in. If it's actually used, it can be a very useful supplement to the community. Real-time, baby! So if you know it's there, let's keep at it. If you don't know it's there...did you read that last paragraph and a half? Take it from the top. | Why make posts to communicate when you can do it real-time? Pretty much, the IRC channel is there, it's very open and accessible, and it can support a LOT of LBPC members at the same time. Plus, it means that any members can talk to any of them, simultaneously, as opposed to having to add specific people to lists. It works, it's easy. Go. | 2008-10-01 21:12:00 Author: Mark D.
