Trapped in an underground industrial playground. Can you make it to the surface?
This is my second ever level and i have to say... it is SOOOO Much better then my first. Im extremely proud of what i was able to do with this one. i would love some feedback so i could improve it as much as possible. You guys are amazing and your feedback is always spot on. Ill do as many F4F's as i receive.

The machine stopped working at the beginning. I don't remember doing anything special to break it.

I couldn't figure out where to go after the area on the fourth image in your original post.

The big wheel thing at the begining? Agh... Well in that fourth Picture you pull the lever and Just ride the platforms up to the top. I'll make that checkpoint guy say something. Haha2010-02-12 16:38:00

Agh! i hate it when something that works every time during play testing doesn't work when you publish it... just so you know thats the first time thats happened. lol there's a switch up there that activates another checkpoint... i have no idea why it wouldn't have worked...2010-02-13 04:30:00

I tried it ,and you did a very good job with the visuals, they were quite impressive! It was lacking a little in gameplay elements though. 4 stars and i think a heart.2010-02-14 05:21:00

I Believe i was able to fix the issues you guys stated. The wheels piston was too close to the door and rubbing against it and that in some rare instances ended up breaking or wedging the piston in one place and the wheel would stop moving. I just made the block the piston was holding a little smaller and now it doesn't rub against anything. I also fixed the vicinity sensor at the top of the lift and made it a little more accessible and less frustrating to reach the top of the mountain and improved the visuals of that section being that the background was a little too visible because of the lighting. I also made the Chase scene at the end more interesting, more platforming and less of just running in a straight line. As well as many other visual and technical fixes and enhancements.

So Check out Antidomicile 2.0! I need to weed out all the issues and this is the best way! Let me know how it goes!

I play this level the other day and, i agree with you. You can be really proud of this. Because it's kind of complex with a great atmosphere. Its entertain, fun, a nice industrial theme. And i can see that you work a lot in this one. I really got a great time at your level. The only recommendation is give more hints. Most of the time i have to figured out all by myself. Thank you very much! I'm glad I was able to fix the major issues. I'll get to work tonight on making better/more hints to propel the player forward. For this level I was mostly trying to go for an experience. A level almost takes you through it's self. A relaxing artistic level that people aren't frustrated with an any moment. I FINALLY played this level! It was better than I expected! The beginning was very good, it all seemed so mechanical, but the end became somewhat sloppy...some parts didn't work right, however, this is your second level, and it is very good!

5 stars and a heart!

Okay, first impressions.

1) In your level description, you mean 'you're' not 'your'. Your is the possessive; your apple, your job, your level. You're is a contraction of you are. The two are not interchangeable.

2) The visuals in the first segment are good, but the constant flickering makes for difficult gameplay. Turn up the global light a bit.

3) The first time I fell a long distance, I could see the edge of the material you'd used, and blank space behind. This is visually jarring. Extend the material past the area the player can see; this provides for a more immersive environment. (Unless seeing sky is part of the aesthetic, which it is not in this level).

4) The lift is horribly broken. It jerks and stutters, very annoying. No clue where to go near the top of the lift, and got killed by gas. Was insufficiently impressed to continue further. Use a single platform, have it stop at its destination--or at least show where to move a little better.

5) If you have to tell people what to do ("stand in the middle and press R1"), you have not given enough clues as to what to do in order to proceed. A spotlight that flashes on the bit to grab would be helpful.

Sorry to be harsh, but I feel reviews of anything should be honest. Fix the above issues and this might well be an excellent level.

Hi! I saw your level and I felt strange, crazy, weird and a very good mechanic, have good lighting effects, the events are exciting, the placement of the camera angles sometimes make it seem to use 3D.

In you have a good time creating fun, entertaining and a touch of suspense, I gave you :star::star::star::star:

Hi there! I've played your level and here are my pros and cons:

+ Some really good light effects
+ Good mechanics
+ The pursuit with the big toothed wheel is funny
- It doesn't really have a story
- On some locations you just don't know what to do. For example the big wheel at the beginning. First I didn't understand what you mean with "stand in the middle". Then it was unclear where to leave the wheel.
- Often you can't see anything because there are absolutely dark spots. I think that's one reason why some parts of the level are a bit confusing as you don't really know where to go. Especially the part with the moving light spot.
- I think you used the color adjustment to make the level look a bit strange. I don't really like that as it gives the level an unreal/ unclear/ milky look (just my opinion).

It's fun but you could make some improvements to make it really good.

Thanks man! I'm hearing a lot of the same thing. It's hard for me to tell exactly where it is that people can't figure out where to go... being that I created it and I instinctively know exactly where to go... Ill add more visual clues and get rid of the blatant one at the beginning.

I think ill have a friend of mine go through it and ill see exactly where she runs into trouble. Then ill edit it all up tonight... I looked at the ending also... and I think its pretty dreadful looking compared to the rest of the level.

This is what I think about your level.

Good: I liked the obstacles and the elevator, and the way it breaks down. Good gameplay. The whole atmosphere is good.

Bad: You never know where to go. Its too dark, and you can't figure out anything. I couldn't get past the place with the platforms moving up with the lights.

Its a good level, but need a few touches. :star: :star: :star:
