Look, I'm a dedicated Christian, and I've seen that site before. And that site was just trying to be funny. In some ways, it succeeded at that. In others, it failed. But in the end, it was for the humor of it.

As some others have stated before, Spore is probably more in line with supporting Intelligent Design, the players being the deities in the picture, as opposed to Macroevolution. I really have no problem with Spore. From what I've seen, it's a cool little game where you get to create a creature and then a whole society of creatures with very slick tools, and then use them in various game parts. Sounds like a good enough concept to me. I'd just prefer buying a game where the gaming mechanics are solid and in line with the creationary aspects, as opposed to weaker and overshadowed by them. Hence why I'm here on LBP Central.

It amuses me how spore is supposedly anti-Christian and anti-Atheist. Make your minds up! This game is just utilizing the sort of tounge-in-cheek humor you'd get in The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy (though not the same style or anything obviously).

I'm an atheist and this game just looks fun to me (although the previews have put me off it, unless they announce an improved PS3 version at some point).
