Making things Dissolve

Archive: 4 posts

So I'm not wasting my time searching Google or anything. I'm kind of an LBP n00b, but I understand Beginner Logic and some Intermediate. I haven't take much time on logic itself.

Here's a question I want answered: How do I make something in LBP dissolve... WITHOUT the Creature Brain? I tried hooking up switches to brains, it doesn't work. I don't know how to make stuff dissolve. If it includes creature brains... Fine. But at least make them invisible.

So... Someone help. I'm getting tired of messing up my levels with nonsense.

You could try searching in LBPC so as not to replicate threads.

Basically the easiest to make like a block of something dissolve is the use dissolve material and hook a switch to it set to ON. The trick with unprotected brains is to attach them last to your object and set the switch to ONE SHOT.

you could use the "Demitter Remitter" trick. I'll try and find the thread if i can for you. Or you could search demitter in game.

EDIT: Here ya go (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=11861-Demitters-tech-demo-updated-2009-11-30&highlight=demitter)

Get your dissolve and i would put a sensor on it, with that connect it to the dissolve and presto, when you walk by, its gone.
