Dang. That took somebody a fair bit of work, didn't it? I'm noticing some definite patterns in where the balls end up, for sure. Also, it seems like they almost did too much work, because there's areas where balls never get to... Still cool nonetheless. Interesting to see something like that in a real level, although its application I have no idea on. (Bubbles? Maybe?)2008-09-29 01:46:00

HAHA that's pretty cool. I'd do it just to see what happened. There's a lot of fun to be had with stuff like this .2008-09-29 01:50:00

Strange, the middle was the highest probabiliy of landing area, and then as the soace expanded less and less landed there. For some reason, the ends were about half full o_O.

BTW, +Rep for your great vid posting. Keep it up!

Well the pattern that they land in is actually not strange, but a stochastic (mathematical) "phenomenon". It's called "normally distributed" in english I think (foreign science language is hard xD). The fact that there are more balls at the edges is normally different, but that's because there's more balls falling at the same time and a lot are pushed to the sides.
But hey, that just shows that the physics and mathematics in LBP are awesome ^^.
