Platformia Act 1: Night and Daywaxing_crescent An ambient adventure level in the old-fashioned platformer style like Super Mario World, Castlevania, which also pokes fun at the cliches of these classic games. I just posted my first real level on LBP, but I'm not getting too many plays especially after the first day. Response has been good so far with 4 stars based on 40 plays, but I havent got much real feedback yet. Id love to hear what you guys think of my first level before i get too involved in the second part. I suggest you take your time here and read the speech bubbles. It's not a level thats meant to be run through really fast, but there are a few little action sequences, and feel free to leave me comments here or in the game. I'll check it out! Not now though, i just got off an LBP session. Maybe tomorrow... Small tip: you should upload some pictures of your level, that will help get people interested. (Take pics with camera tool, go to my taken pics section and hit triangle -> upload to hdd on each pic you want to upload, then use the itnernet browser and an image hosting site or a USB stick to transfer to your computer for uploading) Mind if you check out my survival level Broken Dreams Survival?

I'd say that was great for your first level. My first level stunk like kippers. The speech bubbles were very witty and funny. A good level design and the use of lighting was great too.

I'll do a Pro/Con for this one Pro: You did a nice job on the scenery. The level is indeed asthetically pleasing Con: You used to many premade objects. The idea of creating is creating your own. It's is only a minor offense though as it is your first level. Pro: Apropraite music Con: H4H...I dispise it and I warn you to do the same. Pro: Funny and witty ghost Other things: Make the sun look for like a sun and not like mars. You missed turning a sound object invisible (the bridge falling down). Make the rocks at the beginning a rock material. All in all it's a really good level. If this is truly your first, you are destined to be famous...that is if you lose the H4H.

Thanks for the advice everyone. It's been really helpful in tweaking my stage and getting into the community in this fantastic game. I'm hoping to post some pics soon (just got the get them from my PS3 to computer) and ditched the H4H. Part 2 is in the process and should be done in a few days. Looking forward to more feedback and keep and eye out for the next one

It's a pretty good level, though it could use some work. Here are the major things i noticed: * A lack of things being glued down. I was able to topple a tree in your garden, among other things. * A lack of lives. Through silly mistakes of my own, i managed to kill myself too many times and i quit. It is pretty good, but it needs some more work to be truly awesome!
