Spoilers don't work with PS3 browser

Archive: 7 posts

I've noticed that the spoiler tags don't open up when I click on them in the PS3 web browser. This is annoying, especially when viewing a thread like The Ugly Mugs of LBPC. I know this isn't LBPC's fault, but is it possible to implement a different spoiler system that works with the PS3?2010-02-07 14:56:00

That's cause the PS3 browser is shockingly poor.2010-02-07 15:28:00

Yup.. there isn't much that the PS3 is compatible with except stock html.. Even that is a bit of a challenge for it. 2010-02-07 15:30:00

Like CC said before that's sonys job to make the browser better. Not the other way round.2010-02-07 16:58:00

I have the same problem on my computer (Mac/on Safari 4.0.3)....

It works with Firefox, but not Safari : it opens half a second then close again, and there's just like a thin line of the content showing... But I think it happens only when there's pictures inside the spoilers. It works normally with text.

Here's a screen shot :

And I bet the next thing that will happen is that support will be phased out for it on various sites.

The browser does suck horribly, I hate it. It's caused me many freezes and loss of control after closing it (the emblem just keeps animating in the corner and I can't use the XMB). Oh well, at least we can look forward to an eventual fix in 20 years when the PS3 is obsolete. I suppose we can close this now.
