More music would be awesome! I often find myself creating a level with a specific song as an inspiration for the mood or tone, and then finding out later that none of MM's stuff fits the bill.

It would be awesome if they could release a pack with some rock songs. Some electric guitar would be welcome in the LBP music library. And maybe a couple more tweakable songs as well. those are my favorites :3

An interactive one that has a bunch of piano tracks built into it that complement each other but stand on their own as well.
Some nice ambient music would be good too.

I'm not really a fan of classical music but I think for some levels soft and slow classical music as well as hard and fast classical music wold really help define the mood of the level. I'm talking full on orchestras, it would have to be tweakable and just think of all the tweaks you could make with because of all the orchestral instruments, there would be an almost endless amount of variety. Ok maybe not endless but still alot.

And agree with the rock music, I'm a fan of rock and metal.

Make a new pack for each genre. (3 of a kind released at once) they could do: the rock pack, the random pack( like, songs from that guy who made ninja tuna), and maybe a ambience music pack, (lots of light, claming music, like, maybe all three of the tutorial music)2010-02-08 23:10:00

We need more interactive ones. I love the interactive ones where you can change the options (is interactive the right name?), because I love to just have the bass or drum beats to create simplistic music that sounds different to the originals 2010-02-10 19:53:00

I agree. I would like something errie and spooky too cause the monster pack song was a big letdown.. come on mm enough with all the happy go lucky songs. and no more elevator music >.<2010-02-10 20:47:00

But I love teh elevator muzak!
me
On another note, the party ghouls music has its place...its a combination of french accordian and bar mitzvah (at least, that's what it sounds like to ME...though I hate bringin in stereotypes...), so you can use it in interesting ways.

The tutorial music (ie: My Advice Pt.1-3) would be another great Daniel Pemberton tracklist to add...

and there are some orchestral selections...you just have to know how to tweak them. lol.

This is probably the most asked for thing on LBP, MOAR MUSIC! I think MediaMolecule needs to throw in some more music from different artists like these.

Rock/Metal: Europe "Final Countdown", AC DC "TNT", System of Down "Chop Suey", Slipknot "Before I Forget", U2 "Beautiful Day", and Battles "Tonto".

House/Dance: Deadmau5 "Ghosts N Stuff", Deadmau5 "Strobe", Deadmau5 "Alone With You", MSTRKRFT "Bounce", ATB "Don't Stop", and Deadmau5 "Hi Friend". Yes there is alot of Deadmau5 because of his genius he should have his own pack.

Classical: Pyotr Tchaikovsk "Dance of the Sugerplum Fairy", Ludwig Van Beethoven "Symphony 5", and Michael Kamen "Band of Brothers".

Rhapsody: Frank Sinatra "Beyond the Sea".

Pop: Michael Jackson "Smooth Criminal", Michael Jackson "Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough", Michael Jackson "Bad", Michael Jackson "Rock With You", Justin Bieber "One Time" (FOR ALL MY SACKGIRLS OUT THERE) , Owl City "Vanilla Twilight", Gorillaz "Dare", and La Roux "Bulletproof". Michael Jackson also deserves his own pack.

Funk: George Clinton "We Got Da Funk", James Brown "Mans World", and Dorris Pins "Funky Town".

Electronic: Daft Punk "Around the World", Gary Numan "Cars", Kraftwerk "Radioactivity", and Crookers "Day and Night".

There. I chose these songs because they would fit pretty well in LittleBigPlanet, they contain no direct profain language, and they are all awesome! I recommend you look up these songs if you don't know them and listen to catch what I'm laying down here.

I know about copyright though MediaMolecule can without a doubt get permission from the producing companys and enable their right to put the music in the game.

Beethoven's 5th (or the second movement of the 9th, as I enjoy its complexity more than the opening of the 5th, which is good because everyone knows it, but not complex enough for me as a classical musician...) would actually be rather easy to do, if they could find a good orchestra that would be willing to put it together...Beethoven's dead, but I'd say (and keep in mind i know barely ANYTHING about copyright laws...) you could actually use his music and copyright it for use in whatever if you put together an orchestra/obtain permission.

Now, as for the rock songs, that might be a BIT harder...but I know some excellent guitarists (one is a high school student, but better than many professionals, in my personal opinion) that could write songs for this.

Or or or...

we could ask Daniel Pemberton. *gives a thumbs up*

Yes. (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=16945-Why-don-t-we-have-these-songs)

He made a bunch of songs in inspiration from LBP, I would really like them in the game.

MEATLOAF!

His songs are awsome and there long enough that you wouldn't have to make them loop because the level would be long over before the song is.

That...or The Beatles.
