Invasion (Part2)Ravon06
Just barely escaping the destruction of the city you flee into the mountains...but what lies in wait is only for you to find out...Can you survive the below zero temperatures and hazards of the mountains?
The second installment to the (not so) popular invasion series. The first level wasn't as successful as i had hoped but hey every creator starts on a rough road right? Anyways this new level took a month or 2 to make and brings a fresh new environment to the invasion series featuring puzzles, secret paths, and riddles i tried to make this lvl as interactive as possible. Unfortunately i overheated so i had to end the level sooner then i had hoped. I felt rly good about this lvl as i had put much work into it story line and all, and i tried to leave this ending at more of a cliff hanger then the last lvl (hence the months of work) and although not many people may have anticipated this sequel i still hope all will enjoy it as much as i did creating it
Feedback is appreciated and im always up for F4F just lemme kno

Just checked out your level and it's got a lot of good stuff going for it.

+ Good material choices
+ cool water and snow effects
+ cool riddle!
+ the blue/green lighting on the material after the riddle with the knight is really beautiful
+ cute UFO guys
+ cage at scoreboard is done nicely.

Some things to consider:

- the cats on the snow parts are a bit tricky. Not impossible but an up hill jump to an even steeper cat head was, well, tricky.
- the lion emblem puzzle is cool but a little time consuming (I like it but not sure how patient other players will be with it)
- it's possible to get spiked when going up the stairs after the riddle. May want to make it more obvious they can kill you or get them out of there.
- hard to see where the stairs go to get to the professor.
- camera on the spaceship should be higher - hard to see your background and it's nice.

Overall it's a good level. Nothing broke and it had some really cool parts. Keep creating!

this was actually entertaining to read as i noticed that feedback would be different depending on which path you chose, the ruins wasn't the only way but i did want to give the players the freedom to actually investigate what the piece was for. If they find themselves not wanting to finish the puzzle there was always the other option of taking the mountain side. As for the cats it was actually kind of hard trying to balance them out with lethality and actually display i might just place them in the foreground for show. But thanks for this Morgana this means alot coming from a creator such as you.2010-02-06 02:35:00
