Bolts to noisy?

Archive: 7 posts

I find quite irritating in my level that the wobble bolts are so noisy. It kind of ruins the atmosphere of the level. (A fairy tale kind of level.) Any suggestions?2010-02-03 19:29:00

You can try and drown them out using other ambient sounds. In Fairy Tale levels you can use the magic sounds from the ICO pack or just put wind or another sound with an asterisk on it to try and minimize the mechanical sounds. I agree with you though. They should have a toggle for the sound on or off.

EDIT: just realized your on PSP. Well, same thing holds true - try and put other sounds to drown it out.

If you make the bolts invisible the noise shouldn't be there. That is the case with the ps3 version anyway, haven't tested it on the PSP but I would guess it is the same.2010-02-03 19:46:00

I know that invisible winches and/or pistons make noise on the PSP version, where they do not on the PS3 version.

I would assume that bolts behave the same way.

Ah fair enough. As I said, I wasn't sure, was just a guess. A wrong one, it would seem! 2010-02-03 20:04:00

Morgana's suggestion is the best in this case. Even a subtle sound, if timed properly, will completely cover up any connector noise.2010-02-05 18:05:00
