Materials

Archive: 7 posts

I searched and couldnt find anything. Is there a list anywhere of all the materials and where to get them? specifically I see alot of levels people have a white almost "plasticy" looking material, in alot of sci-fi levels especially. I tried white stickering another material but end up with alot of lines where the stickers meet or overlap.

I know im still missing at least a few materials, so a list if there is one would be super helpul so i can work on getting them before other stuff.

Increase the size of the sticker.

yea, make the sticker huge!!. It's easier if you keep the grid on, this way the sticker's center is not going to move. The two materials that make stickers look better are 'blue wood' and 'dissolve'. Blue Wood usually gives u a shinier coat. If you want to go even shinier, I would suggest trying rubber! it is used in a lot of sci-fi levels, including Starcruiser.

Hope this helps!

Actually, that glitch was fixed a little while ago. No need to turn on the grid.

There was a bad glitch (or bug) where if you made a sticker too big without the grid, the camera would fly off to the side of the level or something, and you would be unable to place the sticker correctly.
