Material Properties: Bouncy/Wobbly
Archive: 8 posts
I just watched Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs on DVD and I must say, that scene was pure awesome. I wish I had a castle like that! ![]() Anyway, this would be very fitting for LittleBigPlanet. Basically, is you apply the "Jelly" property to a regular material (like you would do to make hazards like fire, electricity and gas), and then you could tweak the material to how wobbly or bouncy it is. How wobbly it how the material moves or waves when you walk along or jump on it (like a waterbed), and bounciness is how you bounce off of it when you jump. I have not played any of the Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs game spin-offs, so I don't know if the Jelly Castle is in them. You can make everything bouncy already. ![]() Explained it here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=21700-How-to-force-players-to-bounce) with an example video. (Might not be exactly what you want) | 2010-01-31 17:19:00 Author: Syroc ![]() Posts: 3193 |
I already know you can bounce players about with entire levels connected to springs and pistons (but it looks more like a bouncy earthquake). ![]() | 2010-01-31 17:36:00 Author: Beed28 ![]() Posts: 200 |
If you look at pre-release videos, deforming sponge was actually part of the game at one point; but they got rid of it for some reason. ![]() http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KJsQst01aOU Look at the sponge 23 secs onwards. | 2010-01-31 21:37:00 Author: Unknown User ![]() |
Place down the LBP tree in create mode sometime and jump on the top... look familiar? | 2010-02-01 09:45:00 Author: RCIX ![]() Posts: 250 |

If you mean the yellow things, those were most likely point bubbles | 2010-02-01 13:00:00 Author: Syroc ![]() Posts: 3193 |
