Steampunk-esque Level... Need ideas...

I intend to make my first proper level with a steampunk theme... There's one problem, I'm not quite sure about the story.
Here's what I have so far, try picture these with a sort of sepia tone. (Very little I know)

(Walking through a clockwork corridor powered by a single cog)

(Corridor opens into a nice sitting room, then you're greeted by a man, he then asks "Shall we begin?")

Hmmm..... How about...

This man tells you he has just invented a Flying Machine!(Imagine a Large/Small Cogs Combination, Smoke releasing, Triple Balloon Help ect...)

He then Takes you through a Steam Punk Town (Use of 3D Layer Gitch)

But Then! System Malfunction! His Flying Machine Breaks! & You get abandoned in the Town, having to work your way through to Find the Wreckage, & see if he still alive!		2010-01-31 20:24:00

I'm making a steampunk level of sorts too. I recently made a huge clock powered by a train running around the clock itself.2010-01-31 22:31:00

My next level "Steam Paint - Locomotive Leviathan" is a pretty simple story, you're on a gargantuan train bringing prototype tanks and other weapons to the big city having set off from Sub-Urbia (linking to the prequel), and you hijack the tanks, blow stuff up, shoot down zepplins etc... usual simple story for me, trying not to get too bogged down in it.2010-01-31 23:00:00
