game freezing

| well yesterday i was playing and i went online to play one of the shark survival games (i know ) which i have played almost 200 times so i didn't exspect a problem but befor the ship loaded the game froze but the sound for some reason kept going. i restarted my psp via the button on the back (which i shouldn't have done) twice and when i entered lbp i was fine untill i got to my pod, the game was ok for about a second but befor my sackboy could evan drop it froze, i restarted my psp by the button in the back again (this time i learned about holding the front button down ) but the same thing happend. i restarted two more times using the front button but no luck so i turned it off for the night. when i checked in the morning it was still frozen. i don't use my ps3 that often so i have no clue what im doing and i don't wana mess anything up. so can anyone help me figure out whats wrong and help me fix it. i did a search and i learned that my save file may be currupted but im hoping thats not it. i have some costumes that i'd hate to make over again as well as going through 1p and collecting everything again. but if thats the case what can i do right? thank you for your time and help! sidenote: sorry for my bad spelling/grammer | 2010-01-30 19:04:00 Author: jab1235  Posts: 2 |
| Hmm you kept saying PSP. You did mean the PS3 right? Same happened to me and what you have to do is go into the game data file and delete everything lbp related. Then put lbp back on (itll need to update with all the patches and stuff). After that....right i cant remember this bit to well....i think it should be fine. If you pop into thee intro level quit the game. Go into the save data folder and copy a backup into there, overwrite your old one. And thats it.
