Hi everyone. I've just realised that The Go! Team, who produced the song Grip like a Vice (http://www.myspace.com/thegoteam), featured on the Game Developer Conference 2007 demonstration of LittleBigPlanet, are releasing the song as a single today! It appears that the single release is going to happen in Brighton, at lunchtime. The following is from their website: The new album's in the can, out in the UK on the 10th of September. First single is Grip Like A Vice out in the UK on the 2nd of July 2007 with b sides of Myself, a cover of Sonic Youth's Bull in the Heather and a remix by Black Affair (Beta Band's Steve Mason's new thing). Loads of new live dates on the live page. This is a review of the single: The Go! Team Grips Like A Vice Memphis Industries Article written by Paul M Jun 23, 2007. Grip Like A Vice is the Go! Team?s first single release since the ubiquitous award winning Thunder, Lightening, Strike LP nearly three years ago and it sounds like it could have been put together from samples from it. Resembling an NYC cop show theme but with a female rapping over it (Ninja, of course) it's very enjoyable though I suspect the familiarity with the style will cause far fewer jaws to drop this time around. The surprises are to be found on the B-side though. Bull in the Heather always was one of the slightly more accessible Sonic Youth fuzzy mashes and here the scuzzy guitars and feedback are supplemented by choruses and glockenspiels. Messy but utterly engaging the effect is compelling. Equally surprising, though a lot less raw, is A Version of Myself which is a candy coated stroll down a twee country road. A terrific and nicely varied three pronged return. * Link: http://www.thegoteam.co.uk (http://www.thegoteam.co.uk) LittleBigPlanet Community Wiki: http:// (http://www.littlebigplanet.wikia.com/)www.littlebigplanet.wikia.com (http://www.littlebigplanet.wikia.com/) | 2007-07-01 12:24:00 Author: Little Sack Man Posts: 8 |

yeah seriously, you should b able to change the soundtrack during online play | 2007-07-15 11:14:00 Author: ReignOfDeath Posts: 466 |
It's probably the same as in Rag Doll Kung Fu... for those who've played it, (also a game by Mark Healey) you had sliders on the main menu where you could put on the beat, bass, voice and everything seperately. its a very good feature. | 2007-07-22 17:04:00 Author: XeriuX Posts: 64 |

Wrong song mate. The song is actually "Get it together". That's why it doesn't sound the same. I have the actual song. | 2008-01-22 12:45:00 Author: Teh_Bucko Posts: 246 |
