Recommended Musical Levels

Here's a very unique musical level that is very well done:

"Drum Solo by Leon Robson" by JokesOnMe

I gave it 5 stars and a heart.. but I'm also a drummer so maybe that's why I liked it so much

Played that level too, it was rediculous.

Although the section where he goes on about how long it took to make was kinda lame. But still, a pretty iNsane level!

Nah, that's just opinion. I usually like seeing the progress of creating levels. I appreciated it because about a year ago I had the same idea, but gave up because it was too logic intensive for me at the time

The Frog Chorus by Icemaiden (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=19517-The-Frog-Chorus-A-Musical-Delight-%2ASpotlighted%2A&highlight=icemaiden+frog)

This level got several plays by me. I was so distracted by the amazing visual design that I had to replay it and close my eyes to hear the song. Probably the most professional music level I've seen. Very enchanting!

Agreed and seems like it aged pretty well. Still looks quite fresh.

I think it's noteworthy that if you listen close to I believe the third ( and latest?) MM podcast, Kenny mentions his long term goal for LBP which is to allow players to create their own music. -----that's how I interpret it------- I don't know what they're going to do but I'm certain that at one point in the future we'll be able to record the music we make in the game to use in our levels or something to that extent. But what I'm really hoping for are music creation tools.2010-02-18 17:04:00

You mean like uploading your own stuff? As if your own band has made a song, and then you will upload it. It would be really awesome, but in reality I don't think it will do. People will misuse it and upload songs of other copyrighted artists. I don't think it will be possible.

Hmm, well I don't remember the name but there was this realllly awesome Mario level with music in it. I think it was by Olmco (sorry if I spelled wrong . well pretty much anything thing from bigboi, jolly, charuzu, olmco, are good. I honestly wish there were more music creators around...gets kinda lonely ya know... . Oh and Stunkel is actually getting pretty good with music. He made Dont Stop believin pretty well (although I helped him on it a bit ) He may be a rising music creator one day. 2010-02-26 05:22:00
