3 switch puzzle logic creation

Archive: 6 posts

Ok this sounds really simple but I just can't figure out how to do it.

Basically I need help in creating a system in which you have to press 3 buttons / switches to turn on 3 different lights, which will turn off if you press them in the wrong sequence.

so for example if (using numbers) teh sequence is

2 - 3 -1

and you press 2 - 3 - 1 then all the lights stay on, but if you press 1 - 3 the first light comes on but is then extinguished when you hit the second button and the whole system gets reset.

of course this is not completely necessary for my level so if it can't be done I won't add it.

Checkout Comphermic's lock system. It is published under his PSN (spelling might not be right) and does exactly what you want it to do (I think).2010-01-29 12:44:00

My original Ordered Inputs Tool Thread. (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=12752-Ordered-Inputs-Tool-level-lock-keycodes-puzzles-etc-[pics-inside])

comphermc's newer thread (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=21444-Ordered-Input-Device-[Tutorial])

Its basically the same device in both threads, although comphermc has reduced the design down and added a tutorial, so you may wish to just head straight to that.

I just checked out comphermc's tutorial on LBP which allows you to copy the level and use the device.

Just a shame I don't own the MM Music Pack because I can't go into edit mode to get it
