Pyramid (name subject to change!)

Archive: 7 posts

Hi everyone,
I finished a level some days ago and thought that maybe someone would like to play it xD.
I thinks its fun and relatively well finished. It has some puzzles, some mechanisms, some platforming, some custom enemies... Below are some pics. Feedback is very welcome!
If anyone would like to help me suggesting a nice name for the level is welcome too!

The scenario used here is based on "AntonioLadrillo" level "piramides"... I started making this level because I wanted to play Ladrillo's level but could not find it in the community... (I never played it, just saw some parts of it in a Mm trailer). Since I could not find it I decided to do something alike for me to play xD. (a little off topic, but anyone knows where his level went and could tell me? ) I still want to play it xD.

Thanks everyone for making and sharing awesome levels!

Very nice. I'm usually not a fan of levels with grabbable floors, or levels with stairs.

Needs some decorations though. Perhaps decorate the level to provide some visual clues to give the player some direction. The beginning of the level was a bit confusing, about where to go.

I just think the level needs a bit more character. Level has a very solid foundation.

Hey DarkDedede, thanks for this nice feedback too.
I'll try to guide the player more at the beginning. Gonna look for some nice stickers.
For the character, I believe it will also take some time to come up with something, but I'll try that too.
I think it may be a good thing.
Thanks for the feedback. Already added some of your levels on my playlist to try them out.

This is the type of level that should have 3000+ hearts and 150000+ plays, not some stupid bomb survivial...

I was also troubled by the fact that you only used one material. You blocked off everything so neatly that all you need to do is use the material changer on the designs you made using just that sponge. It'll make your level so much more interesting.

Stickerwise, with a level like this you may want to consider buying the history pack (If you want I can "give" it to you, all you have to do is add me and I'll take you to the level with the stickers in it. You don't even have to download anything). If not, then any sticker would look nice. If you look at some of MM's levels, some have random stickers in a blank space. Inappropriate stickers look good if they are appropriately placed.

If I had to pick the thing that I most liked about that level is the snakes? that would come out of the ground. The scorpion could use some work and I also liked the puzzle near the end. All in all, it's one of the best looking and all around fun level I have played in a long time.

Hey ZodiacX, thanks!
"3000+ hearts and 150000+ plays" lol

I agree with you that it turn out to be a bit blank...
About the stickers I'll definitely try to add some.
"Inappropriate stickers look good if they are appropriately placed", yeah, you're right.

But about changing the material, I don't know... I'm still liking that sponge for the sand... lol.
Nonetheless I'll try to change some parts and see if I like it.

Thanks for the History Pack! But I already bought it 3 (only three!) days ago ... Thanks anyway
Also thanks for the nice feedback!

No problem. And the 3000+ and 150000+ plays is true for that survival level (and of course 95% of the comments are "ply my levl pls." Anyways, us modest creators will succeed. You don't have to change the sand for the ground/ceiling, but maybe for the rest. Look near the beginning for example. You did a design in the backround using shapes like O with a triangle in it. If you can't touch it, than change it. A design like that would look great with a material change.2010-02-10 00:39:00
