Mountain (name subject to change!)

Archive: 13 posts

Hi everyone,
I finished a level some days ago and thought that maybe someone would like to play it xD.
I think its fun and relatively well finished. It has some puzzles, some mechanisms, some platforming...
Below are some pics. Feedback is very welcome!
If anyone would like to help me suggesting a nice name for the level is welcome too!
I feel that maybe the current name does not suit it very well...
Thanks everyone for making and sharing awesome levels!

Wow, these pictures really make you turn to see the work done. I will play your levels and give you feedback. And thanks for your comments on my level too.

Sorry for the delay, but here's the promised feedback. And now perhaps you already have discussed all the good things of your level, with the great team of spotlight.

I played your level before he was on the list and I must say is very impressive complexity of the structure of your level. It looks very simple and straightforward, this does not mean it was easy to do. It's obvious you worked hard to get a quality level of Mm.
Your level has a good level of challenge and above all as a level they can play it over and over again and find fun.

One of my biggest problems since entering the mode of creation was to create enemies. And your enemy more representative here looks great, has a mobility that is challenging and well placed. is a big hit your enemy.

hey... can you please move?

One thing that struck me at your level is the beauty of the composition. Your sites look good, the materials you choose, have a harmony between them. And the stickers are great too.

One of the first things I appreciate the levels, look beautiful or not is therefore having the ability to have fun. That in walking, jumping, or discover secrets, the level is fun. and your level as well as being beautiful is fun.

I loved the gameplay in your level. Even today I played twice and amused myself big. And I must say that I decided to get a better score and I did in the race because he could not obtain good score the first time.

You have a dynamic platform sections that I liked a lot. And the photos are not good reference, but to see it in action is fun. I can only say that there are little things "unpolished", but are too small to overshadow the great level. And hardly worth mentioning.

Great level. It's pretty much only needs some visual polish and some character.

Are you planning on adding prizes to this level as well?

Hey DarkDedede, thanks for the nice feedback.
For the prizes, yes I think it would be nice to add some prizes. I'll add some, probably three.
There was something especially that you thought that would be nice giving?
For the character, it will probably take some time to come up with something, but I'll try that too.
Thanks for the feedback. Already added some of your levels on my playlist to try them out.

Nothing in particular. I was just curious, since this one didn't have any prizes, and the Pyramid did.

Are your levels going to be part of a series, or are they going to be stand alone levels?

For now I'm planning to keep them stand alone levels.
I've added 4 prize bubbles in this level.
Thanks.

This was fantastic. Just seen it in the spotlight and the first thing I noticed was the picture. Thought 'oh this looks cool' and then seen someone mention my name straight away so had to give it a go out of curiosity haha

In all honesty, there's been a lot of levels lately that have mirrored 'my style' quite a lot, not that there's anything wrong with that, but I didn't really think they brought anything new to the party. Lil Platformer being main example of this.

This however is totally different, it starts of nice and simply but I could tell that there was more about it. The planning and layout was fantastic and it ramps up in complexity and difficulty at just the right time. Just as I was starting to think 'hmm maybe it is like the others I've played' it started to twist and turn in layout and grabbed my interest again. Some of the contraptions and little puzzles were fantastic.

Amazing stuff! I think the visuals could do with maybe a little more decoration in places but on the whole it is amazing stuff. Hopefully it'll get a few more plays and attention on here now with the spotlight!

I see you have the mulitple wobble bolt contraptions nailed down too! Either you have a lot of time to tweak them and get it just right, or you have done something that I don't think anyone else can do, and that is understand them!

Well done

Hey jackofcourse, I understand you just had to give it a go. And I'm glad you did, and liked the level!

About more decorations in some places, I think I know where you meant, and I'll most likely do that. About the wooble bolts, they're a bit mysterious for me too haha . Thanks for the nice feedback!

Really great level!

I agree with the comments of the spotlight Team :
The smart simplicity of MM levels, with a little touch of Jackofcourse style,
in an original combinaison that stand on his own!

I really enjoyed playing it, the level is fun from the beginning to the end, and it just flows smoothly!

Great job!

I actually played this a while ago because i think someone recommended it or something. Awesome Level! Can't particularly remember anything wrong with it, though it might have been a bit hard in some cases to figure out what to do without any dialogue.

When you get a chance. can you try out this level (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=22244-Giga-Cannon&p=387764&viewfull=1#post387764)?
