End of game custom scoreboards showing secrets found

Like in the fabulous ALL MINE level I would like to put a similar additional secrets found scoreboard. To my very limited knowledge would I achieve this by

1. creating grab stuff hidden which dissolve when grabbed - they would have a mag key which when it dissolves creates a permanent ON ( ie inverted ) mag switch which is then connected to say an LED on the extra scoreboard.... then have a AND piece of logic to say emit a special prize if all these are found ( and therefore all inverted mag switches attached to LED's on the final scoreboard are set to ON)

Also would like to emit a % complete number so if I had only 3 secrets found out of 5 it would say 60% completed/found or whatever - hmmm how would I do this - would I need a counter logic too?

Any advice/hints would be appreciated to save me some head-scratching as I am only now starting to look to play with logic!

If you consider the grabbale item as a key, then it's like having a perm switch that activates another perm switch that does something else (in this case, activate a led); you can do this by simply using the item as a part of a dissolve-based perm switch.
About the counter logic: if you want to show the % of secrets found, then I guess there's no other way to do this.

There is a really easy way to do a percentage: if you put a prize bubble with a custom object in every secret location, then the objects found percentage at the scoreboard will tell you how many secrets were found, too. 2010-01-28 15:27:00

For All Mine! the best method was to put the grab switch on it to the dissolve and to the light. Grabbing it destroys the object and the grab switch, allowing the light to remain on. A percentage counter would be tough. What's wrong with the lights?2010-01-28 17:08:00

Create a little circle of dissolve. This is your secret. Hide it well. Place a grab switch on. The grab switch, when wired to the light, keeps the light OFF.

By also wiring the grab switch to the dissolve circle, the circle is destroyed when the player grabs it. The grab switch was on the dissolve, so it is also destroyed.

When the grab switch is dissolved, there is nothing to prevent the light from being ON.

Simple as that.
