My Debut LBP Level! "Ancient Aztec Adventure" (Working title)

Archive: 2 posts

You are a treasure hunter. And your travels have finally brought you to the Ancient Ruins of South America. To the holy ruins of... something i have yet to name... to find a treasure.... or some kind... Okay so the story is still a work in progress but there's a basic gist. There's fire and ancient rockets, Mazes and Dragons! It's exciting!

Im sure there are many issues i have yet to rat out... so i would love some feedback. If its too hard or sloppy or if there are places you get stuck and can not continue... Or if it just plain sucks... i would love to know! I will do as many F4Fs as i receive.

Ok let me start off by saying that the level was basically good but has some problems that are holding it back. first off you need to change the beginning with the moving blocks since it is really difficult to understand what to do and I was squished many times just trying to get onto the blocks, also I tried swinging over to the stairs with the swing but it kept dropping down making me not able to jump the distance. The part with the rocket was really cool but why was the checkpoint destroyed? The first time playing I accidentally jumped into the gas pit and died and had to restart. The update that we got a couple weeks ago lets us attach checkpoints to switches like sensors or buttons so there is no need of destroying them or making them roll in secret passages. The boss battle was really fun and the best part of this level though i didn't like how sometimes his tail squished you but that is pretty minor and forgivable. Oh and I also really liked the spinning spike balls. those were pretty sweet.2010-01-30 20:38:00
