Well for some reason whenever I quit the game (LBP)...and when I log back in I have all the stuff missing from my previews save. Like right now I just completed the Wedding Reception 100% but when I turned off and turned the game back on it said I have 95% which I recall was the previews time I saved....it always does this to me...saves sometimes..while other times it just won't save...2010-01-27 04:01:00

well always return to pod and wait a second or even make another action and let it save to be safe, how did you exit LBP the last time you lost data?2010-01-27 08:15:00

Okay well, as this has happened to me about 3-5 times I know a lot of different ways to get it back to normal or to get through it.

The easiest was is to just let it run its course. It may last for a few days or a few weeks this is the easiest way without a chance of loosing any of your current data. All you do to save your data at the end of your playing time is...
1) If you were playing levels and you completed it of got a lot of the prizes, back-up your profile before you quit LBP. While the glitch is active, I would back it up into a new save slot everyday. If you were creating, you can back-up the level and then proceed to back-up your profile.
2) You can try to enter a level when you are done playing and you have to keep doing that until it forces a save, you can tell weather it saved because a sackboy will be running between the arrows at the bottom of the screen.
3) Get a friend to join in your pod. *May not always work*

The second way to get it to stop is to import a back-up that was saved prior to the glitch. You will have to put anything you made that's important to you that was made after the back-up you choose to use in prize bubbles and publish the level or back it up.

The last thing which I do not recommend is to delete your profile data and start out new. You may have to do this if you have no back-up and the glitch does not go away within a month.

It really doesn't matter as long as you watch it save and you don't shut it off using the back switch. In my case it doesn't matter anyways.

Key words here, that is why I asked the question.

Okay, good point but who reaches behind it to shut it off? Unless you're like me and accidentally switch a wall switch it is connected to.

I always shut mine off at the back after I've shut it down with the controller and the red light has come on.

One thing no-one has aked yet though as he mentioned it was after playing the story mode levels is "Are you finishing the levels by getting to the scoreboard". If not even though you collected everything it won't actually register until you get to the scoreboard. You should still have all the items, it just doesn't say you have so all you need to do if that is the case is replay the level and just get to the scoreboard. No need to go around collecting everything again.

Actually with this glitch it almost always resolves itself if you wait.
