Topsy-Turvy Temple (by cthulhu82)

Technically an oldish level but I have just modified it quite a bit and republished it so I thought I would share it with everyone here.

The aim is simple. You have to get all the way across to the other side of the temple while dodging electric floors, spikes and fireballs so that you can find the switch that will make the entire level spin upside down revealing a new path leading you in the opposite direction and to freedom.

I would add more enemies in and other hazards but my thermometer is just about maxed out on this level so please take that into consideration when you play

Ok so I've now played this level, and I have to say I think it needs some work:
- I thought I was a bit Plain - I don't know how full the thermo is, But some decorations wouldn't go amiss.
- I know you put fire on the floor, But underneath where the devil prize bubble is I managed to jump past the fire and land on the Floor
- The third sponge you have to grab at the beggining with the Elastic- I think it need a camera angle as it was difficult to see where the fire was.
- You used the Mm Enemies! This is a big no-no for me as it just shows you couldn't be bothered to make your own. You shoud definately build some enemies of your own.
- I think a quick cutscene camera to show the door is open wouldn't go amiss.
- I liked the little conveyor belt thing, But the first time I jumped in the electricity behind killed me because it was higher than the floor or the little cart thingie. You also used the Mm conveyor, and I didn't think the Matierials were suitable.
- Some of you text bubbles went off even if you had already done what they were telling you to do - I had to try multiple times, and I completed the task before i got to the bubbles - some Pemenant switches and AND Gates could sort out this issue.
- You used the Mm dommino section! Again, this shows you couldn't be bothered to make your own and just chose the easy option.
- The Ending - For me it seemed like I jumped into a random floating box rather than the world outside. This sums up a lot of you level - it seemed like randoms bars of matierial rather than the block and walls of a temple.
It's a nice concept, but I think your level lacks polish and could do with a little more effort. You don't seem to have a brilliant grasp of logic - Have you played LBPC's Logi Pack? If not I strongly reccommend you do so asap by searching @Logicpack ingame and playing through.

yep all true which is why I am going to totally redo it. As for logic I actually made this level when I had no idea what logic was (or had even heard of it) but hopefully I can make this much better.

Oh and my thermo was really full, one more sticker and that would have been it

If your thermo is full, then I definately reccommend deleting all the Mm objects. They use up almost twice the thermo that an object that looks the same with the same matierials that you built. The only time I use Mm stuff is the Saw and Gears and Wheels and stuff that you can't do with normal creating. Also, Di you know there are actually several Thermo's. If it says 'try using less stickers and decorations' then you can still add more corners, matierials etc. It shows whichever one is higher.2010-01-28 14:10:00

ya I deleted the creatures and all the decorations / stickers as well as erasing sections of wall / background that you don't see but the main thermo was still dangerously close to the top.

But as you may have seen I am doing a new version of T3 which can be seen here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=21940-Topsy-Turvy-Temple-Redux)
