| Generally, the download will be a folder that you'll have to merge with another folder of the same name. This folder is in your steam directory. It's in your Program Files folder, do a little digging, and you'll find the folder you need to merge with. (Hint; look in steamapps) To merge the two folders, you need to extract the download folder to where the other folder is LOCATED. Do not export it INSIDE of the folder you want to merge with. So lets' say the folder you want to merge with is called tf, and it's file path is programs/steam/tf, then you'd export the file to programs/steam.
