I was wondering, is there the option of installing the full LBP game onto the PS3 so that the disc is not needed?

I'm afraid not. Not even most PC games let you do that today. It all has to do with preventing piracy.

I don't feel like starting a new thread, so I'll just ask away. Is there a way to play online with people not on your friends list (random matchmaking), or am I restricted to only playing online with friends?

Try a quick play! That is how you can randomly join people if they accept your join request. ..or if you are wanting to play a particular Story Level, go ahead and select to Play Online and then wait around at the entrance prior to the player gate. You can do that on community levels as well, but unless there lots of folks playing that level, it could be a long lonely wait.

no... but if they did... you would be able to recod a play. (like ragdoll kungfu or noby noby boy) just like your able to save pics to your hardrive.

You don't need a full install to use the buffer screenshot function and Youtube upload. Any game could implement it actually. Just like cross invites. It's just that devs aren't forced to use any of those features by devellopment guidelines so a large majority of them don't care.

There should be like multi disc holder, in the Playstation. So you dont have to keep changing game discs all the time. 101th Post yay
