In a lot of levels i see, the camera does all sorts of interesting angles and shots. How do creators control this?

Press square on the camera object to open up the tweak menu. From there, you can control the angle and position of the camera and the "zone" that triggers the camera to turn on (like a prox switch) For some angles, you need to take the "follow player" slider towards zero. This slider controls the degree of "blend" of the camera angle you set and the default camera shot at sackboy's position. For cutscenes, you can control cameras turning on/off remotely by using switches.

Getting used to the camera can be quite tricky. The setting "follow" is very important. As TheGide states, if you want funky angles, setting it to high follow (by default), it won't quite work. For smooth camera transitions, you would need to overlap camera zones, which can be tricky since the sensor area is quite fuzzy. You only need to highlight an area that is smaller than the area you intend to use. Practice makes [close to] perfect. N.B. - once you put a switch to a camera, it's permanent. To "remove" the wire, you have to copy and camera and delete the old one.

In your popit, under tools. looks like a black webcam, a little round ball. I believe it's on the same page as the checkpoints, etc. Have you thoroughly played through the tutorials?

Um.... Camera Object? Where's that? Its in the tools section of the poppet - scroll across to the right where u get to the page with checkpoint doors on and I believe the camera is near the top left?

I would suggest you play the first few levels on lbp,they will give you some tutorials on how stuff works. also when working in the editor for the first time, you will get various notifications on tutorials for certain objects you select. also pressing Square on various objects will show you a list with available tutorials.. Good luck!
