A two-plane tank with single-plane treads. The running gear uses the same suspension design as my Chally 2. All it does at the moment is go backwards and forwards. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/b7580a78.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/6499a803.jpg Close up. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/65fea2f1.jpg http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/13d88a79.jpg For scale. http://i92.photobucket.com/albums/l37/Corporeal/6e159236.jpg | 2010-01-20 15:27:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |

very good, but does it have suspension?? also, im not sure about yours but from my experience, 2 plane tanks need 2 planed tracks, otherwise they are prone to breaking. Also, what did you use to hold the links together?? also its nice to see someone other than me making tanks!! lol | 2010-01-20 23:50:00 Author: horwitzer Posts: 255 |
very good, but does it have suspension?? Yes, it uses the same seesaw-suspension as my Chally 2 tank. I took your advice from the other thread and used wobble bolts instead of bolts to stop the running gear from spinning around. also, im not sure about yours but from my experience, 2 plane tanks need 2 planed tracks, otherwise they are prone to breaking. Also, what did you use to hold the links together?? I published it so you can check out how strong the tracks are if you want. I made the tracks as thin as possible (much thinner than in the photos) but they don't break any more than they did before. I use string, lots of string. | 2010-01-31 00:40:00 Author: Ayneh Posts: 2454 |
