Over 20,000 dolphins are slaughtered in Taiji, Japan annually. Even after the secret was exposed in "The Cove", these killings continue. On top of this, the meat from the dolphins is unknowingly poisoned with mercury, the most toxic, non-radioactive, chemical in the world. The meat is sold at grocery stores, often advertised as other whale or fish, and not dolphin meat. I would post some videos, but they are far too violent and disturbing to post on a G-Rated forum. I've seen "The Cove". It made me sick to think about all those intelligent animals being killed like that.
