Are you a creator or a player?

I have always wished for Mm to make some sort of stats thing, so we can check on our stats in the game. I just want to see how long ive played for. I have had the game since the day it came out and it would be great to see how many hours I have ticked away on it. Then I started to think I have spent most of the time just making things. I am more of a creator then a player. Like more of a lover then a fighter
Anyway I just want to know what kind of player are you? If that makes sense

Oh NO. I just typed a huge reply, and somehow it got lost. I think I hit the "reply to thread" button instead of "post quick reply" and scrooged myself.

To recap, briefly:

1. "I am more of a creator then a player. Like more of a lover then a fighter." - You've got it backwards! Creating is the fighting. We creators are the fighters.
2. I'd be TERRIFIED to see how many hours I've logged into this game. I thank sackboy-jesus that I can't. More than any other game I've played, bar none.
3. Traditionally, I tend to invest myself fully, dangerously, into create mode at the expense of all other things until I reach burnout. Then I take a hiatus, then I just do a "play" session, staying the hell away from create mode. Those play sessions tend to be my favorite times with the game, and in fact I'm WAY overdue for one.

What I want is an online portal that ties to the game. Online, I can create a playlist of levels, and then when I sign into LBP, I can go into that playlist and play them one after another. That one thing would totally fix my lack of level playing.		2010-01-20 01:38:00

Yep, I've heard of these things too, and as far as I know there's been no official detailed announcement on what this thing will be... but it seems very likely that my dream scenario may just be in the works.

I'm wondering how well it will tie into the online portal. How soon after a level is published will it be "available" to add to your queue remotely from your computer? Etc.

But either way, I'm pumped. I think this one thing will really REALLY get me playing levels again.		2010-01-20 01:46:00

I would say I am definitely a creator over being a player. I do play levels from time to time, but the majority of the time I am playing LBP, I am in create mode.2010-01-20 01:58:00

I think it is tied directly to the web portal - they said you would be able to click level links on a website and clicking those links would add those levels to the queue to be downloaded automagically next time you play.2010-01-20 13:50:00

I burned out on this game even before it hit retail shelves. Ugh.

Definitely, just a player. Love to play LBP on Saturdays when I have the time. Even though I realize that there's tons of room for creativity, I've never created my own level. It would suck royally. I like to come here and play the ones that are recommended.2010-01-20 18:54:00
