Sonic 2 Hill Top Zone Act1

It looks really good though, but you might want to add new obstacles instead of repeating old ones Yeah I see what you're saying but what you have to remember is that, as this is a remake I was restricted to what I could and could not do, so as a remake I tried to get the balance right to suit Sonic and Lbp, I would say that it is roughly 85 - 90% based on the Sonic level. I did try very hard to make the level appeal to the people who haven't played Sonic 2, without changing it too much, but there's only so much you can do though. And ofcourse I hope that the Sonic Fans will appreciate this, naturally they take priority as to who this level should appeal to most. | 2010-01-20 18:40:00 Author: Celticdoberman Posts: 26 |
So far, your level is quite accurate to the original stage. But there were some inconveniences going on. First off, the zipline, can't you put your zipline at a flat spot? After the second checkpoint, I kept falling off the zipline because it's going so fast even with the stopper. It didn't really help that it had a limited checkpoints if you are going to use that style. Overall, I give it a 3/5. Believe me I tried, I even added two additional checkpoints that weren't in the stage itself, if I added anymore because of the size of them I thought the level might look too cluttered.
