Right after playing through a load of fairytales levels for judging purposes I have to say this game is missing a sprint button. Circle would be perfect for that as it's not used for anything else while playing a level and it's right next to the jump button. Not only could you run faster through boring flat sections, but you could also jump further which could add another challenge to levels. I always wished Mm had added more "options" to the sackboy. I would completely approve with this if it wasn't because how many levels such a feature would break. When I build a level with a long flat area I always either add obstacles or make the ground bumpy so it looks different. Sprint would be awesome, like in Mario where you could optionally hold another button while running to run faster It'd be cool if there was a Sackboy Modifier page in the tools bag so you could modify how he/she acts during the level (how fast they are/jump height/are they allowed to grab/.etc/) | 2010-01-19 16:23:00 Author: Matimoo Posts: 1027 |
I want this too!! do i wouldnt use the circle for it, we use that to get out of paintguns, jetpacks and scubasuits.. so triangle would be better.. But as Keldur says: this would break so many levels.. so this may could be achieved by having a sprinting shoes powerup.. that you put on exactly like the jetpack etc. And you could be able to limit the time you can wear the shoes, or the length you can run with them.. | 2010-01-20 09:56:00 Author: Tamland Posts: 106 |

I think that hop and leaps button would be helpful. That is, buttons set aside for short and super jumps respectively.
