What's your favorite National Park and what kind of activities do you like to do there? My favorite is Yosemite in California, and I love to float down the river and hike... | 2010-01-19 04:43:00 Author: Shremco Posts: 65 |

There's this awesome valley in my area called Dovedale. You sort of follow the river through the valley and there's like weird caves and rock formations poking out from the trees, it has a really mystical feel to it. http://www.old-picture.com/europe/pictures/Derbyshire-Dovedale-001.jpg http://s0.geograph.org.uk/photos/11/25/112555_1f8c63a3.jpg Oh and theres this other place that's a bit closer but i still haven't been too called the roaches. I searched it on google a second ago and it looks awesome! http://farm1.static.flickr.com/139/320660951_dc66d21902.jpg | 2010-01-19 18:21:00 Author: Dexiro Posts: 2100 |
Totally. I'm a nature buff myself. I haven been camping in two years though. But recently, I've decided to join the Montana Conservation Corps (MCC) through the Americorps program. It's going to be a lot of tough work but I'm excited to spend some time outdoors. I've always wanted to go to Montana. | 2010-01-19 21:10:00 Author: pantspantspants Posts: 189 |
For a hike, anywhere with woods (backyard, Firefly lake, etc.). Wisconsin has great lakes and trails. Hunting? The local school | 2010-01-19 21:59:00 Author: chezhead Posts: 1063 |

Living in the city in Vancouver, the closest easy-to-access piece of nature available to me (without a car) is Stanley Park. http://imgur.com/1CNpX.jpg There's nothing like the sweet smell of cedar, the seas of curling green ferns, and the piles of used needles and discarded condoms. The sounds of distant woodland critters and screaming hobos, and the occasional fear of stabbing. Aaah, nature! | 2010-01-20 01:58:00 Author: Teebonesy Posts: 1937 |

Well, the only place I go from time-to-time is the Cleveland National Forest... the very same one devastated by the wildfires of '03 and '07. Much of the forest is still burnt, but we, us proud San Diegans, still enjoy its splendor, despite the scars. Here, I like going to places like Stonewall Peak and Lake Cuyamaca, as depicted here: http://www.localhikes.com/images/MSA_7320/StonewallPeak/StonewallPeak3.Jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2741/4102623728_d8a2de65dc.jpg I also love going up to Mt. Laguna when it snows (yes, it snows down here ). It's so cool looking at the stark differences of the mountains & deserts. Desert View Park, which is on the mountain, gives the best location for this phenomenon: http://static.panoramio.com/photos/original/24443906.jpg | 2010-01-23 08:10:00 Author: Outlaw-Jack Posts: 5757 |
