So, I made a working speed-o-meter and now I am thinking - What next. I am more of a Thing creator than a Level creator and besides, I do not really see speedo based level. It does or can be used in the following way however - It displays the relative speed, or no speed. Reverse speed could be added fairly easily. It could be adapted to work in same manner as the bomb in the movie Speed - that is, once at a particular speed, you could force the user to stay above a certain speed. The inverse is true - it could be adapted so that it only triggers once a certain speed is reached. I saw this in action, but I can not find the post. It was a hamster wheel that you ran in, once you got it turning quick enough, it activated a light. It could be prettied up. Using the level posted *HERE* (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=18945-Measure-your-speed) I could make it much more accurate. Other suggestions? Sure, I could do all of the above, but I would rather at least start with whichever has the most mass appeal. Although at the moment it is not a fine tuned instrument, the current version uses a tiny handful of parts, but more could be added if the most useful feature I could add was accuracy. Something else that has been bugging me - obviously, it can not go in the dashboard of a vehicle because it is not in view of the player. What is everyone's ideas on placement? The actual mechanism itself can be completely contained within one layer of a vehicle, but where to put the output?

So you have a working speedometer, and you don't know what to use it for? Exactly! Well, a level mechanic based on the plot of the movie "Speed", obviously. Like I said, I am not so much for levels as things. If there is demand for such a vehicle I can demo it. Does anyone have a bus I can use?
