I don't know about you guys, but Bioshock 2 has got to be my most anticipated game of 2010 and we have less than a month until its release. Anyway, just discuss the game in this topic and things you're looking forward to. I'm super excited to play as the Delta Big Daddy. When I played through the original Bioshock I was always frightened to enter another room. I'm hoping that having a giant drill in my hand will comfort me a bit more this time around. Also, the story seems much more riveting than the first and it is said that there are more than three endings.

Very excited for this. I've been avoiding Bioshock 2 media so that I'm completely surprised by the story. I do know 2 things though, you play as the first Big Daddy and there are "Big Sisters".

I've played the first one for anight. I had a sleepover with a friend. But Bioshock 2 looks much more exciting.

Is this the kind of game you could buy and enjoy if you didn't have Bioshock 1? I'm sure you will enjoy it, it's been getting stellar reviews so far. But, I do think you should play the original game first just to know the story behind Rapture. I've watched the first couple minutes of Bioshock 2 and it seems that they don't really start you out with much information. You just wake up on the city's floor with a giant drill on your arm.

Is anyone else totally psyched about Bioshock 2? ive been endlessly waiting and now its finally going to come out in february! Bioshock was a single player only game but Bioshock 2 is going to have a multiplayer feature! the graphics seem amazing and the characters are a lot more realistic. Also you get to play as a Big Daddy!. Im not sure if its a Rosy or a Bouncer but in the game you look at a mirror and it seems youre a Rosy but at the same time you have a drill which only Bouncers have. you can also use plasmids on traps to make them more effective. The only downside is Big Sister. She attacks you if you take too many of the Little Sisters from the other Big Daddies and she kills you instantly, but anyways, cant wait! ive been looking forward to it for a long time

Yep I've been keeping away from all Bioshock 2 singleplayer vids to keep the surprise intact. At the moment I'm going through Bioshock for the 6th time so yeah, I'm ready for some drillin action

what amazes me is that they were able to spice up the theme. i saw a commercial showing the multiplayer feature and it appeared that the characters looked much more like what people would look like by the sea and especially since its like the 1970's in that game

Bioshock 2 looks absolutely amazing. It definitely has potential to be 2010's Game of the Year. Bioshock 2 and Heavy Rain are my 2 most anticipated games of this year... and maybe MGS Rising as well I know the story mode won't disappoint us, and I'm hoping for the best in its online multiplayer. Based on some of the footage I've seen, Bioshock 2's online multiplayer looks pretty fun and unique

I just bought it, though I have to finish a paper before I start playing or I won't be able to get off. EDIT: Just played a bit of the campaign and then some multiplayer. Single Player : Love the story from the start, can't wait to unravel all of Rapture's little secrets. Multiplayer : Actually pretty good, didn't think they would focus on it too much but it's pretty fun, lot's of gametypes.

well im a big fan of Bioshock yeh <_> i got the game yesterday.. and just finish it just an AWESOME story. but you will have to play it like 2 times -_- mhhm and I never though the Multiplayer would be so fun Now im waiting for Bioshock 3 >_>

I love the Wrench and the Drill but I MEGA-HATE the fact that the drill runs on gas! Lol well this is the Bioshock 2 thread And no, it is not true some of the enviroment look all worse cause of the whole 10 years after but reviewers are saying that because Bioshock 2 obviously doesnt feel as fresh and new as the first one but its still more than worth it

Yeah the reviewers really missed the point. They seem to think that you'd see the city like it was new again (how they thought you could do that I don't know). The game is just what we needed, another trip to Rapture with a different environment, atmosphere and gameplay.

Presentation: The beginning is very well done, and seems to set the tone for the game. I will leave this part for you because the beginning is that good. Story: You are now a Big daddy in Rapture, but not just any Big Daddy your the first Big Daddy so this is a gives a good feeling of actually feeling like you were in the armor of the Big Daddy. When we first saw this game (first trailer) we were promised that there is a bigger and more deadly creature out there, they made it true with the enemy called "Big Sister".(I will explain more in the gameplay) section Audio tapes are a really nice touch aswell. Audio tapes tell side story's and explain allot of why Rapture became such a drug driven city. I've played this game over again even though I'm renting it and it is only 5 levels long so don't be surprised if you end up playing the game more then once. Gameplay: If you've played the first Bioshock, I'm pretty sure its the same. Triangle is still to jump, and so on. The one BIG improvement in the gameplay is the hacking, its no longer annoying tubes, I won't explain the new system completely but just believe me, its better. When you end up wandering to another Big Daddy, they are difficult and will give you a challenging enemy, but worse then that is Big Sisters. Big sisters are basically Big Daddy's with a little less armor, and really agile. They are hard to beat but you can beat them easier if you know what hurts them the most, and once you know your always easier then the actual Big Daddy's. Another thing I want to add is the camera system, It can be a real pain since you have to switch between guns just to use a little camera. Also, the multiplayer is ok, its using the same system as Call of Duty games, and for some just takes away from Call of Duty or any other big online game for just a few days. It is not the best part of the game. You have been warned. Graphics: The graphics are great, I don't see any problems with it. The atmosphere is nice and Rapture like. WARNING: the game isn't that scary. Overall: Its a very good game and worth the 60 bucks. 9/10 Here is my review (my first full review) so I'd like some feedback.
