How to make a Story/Community Material editable

Archive: 16 posts

Hello everyone

You can also do this glitch as napero7 (http://www.lbpcentral.com/forums/member.php?5845-napero7)'s way. It is a easier way to do it.
You can check it here (https://lbpcentral.lbp-hub.com/index.php?t=23421-Cardboard-wood-aka-cream-wood-make-any-shape-you-want-with-it).

Good News
Im showing how to make any story or community material editable
So, lets go!

1 - First, get any material from the Story or Community that isn't editable
In this case im using the Secret material Cardboard Sponge

http://img269.imageshack.us/img269/7830/umafoto17.jpg

2 - Make it HUGE and put Dark Matter around it

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/1492/umafoto16.jpg

3 - Make a explosion tool by placing a impact bomb and magnetic switches
(Be sure to be in pause mode when making the explosion tool)

http://img11.imageshack.us/img11/5876/umafoto15.jpg

4 - Activate Small Grid and capture the bomb

5 - Make the bomb the size of the Small grid

http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/3514/umafoto14.jpg

6 - Start blowing up the material until you get this form:

7 - Put Dark Matter around this area and finish blowing up

http://img168.imageshack.us/img168/6097/umafoto12.jpg

http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/5673/umafoto11.jpg

8 - Now delete everything, MINUS the square we made

http://img12.imageshack.us/img12/2641/umafoto8.jpg

9 - Clean the Material with the Sticker tool by pressing http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/6207/triangle.png

http://img707.imageshack.us/img707/9052/umafoto7.jpg

10 - Capture it!

http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/604/umafoto10.jpg

11 - Shazaam! Now you have a editable Story/Community Material

http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/6659/umafoto9.jpg

It works with other Materials too, like the Frida's Wood Cardboard or the Glass Dissolve or the Glass Sponge

It's almost rude of me to ask you to do this extra work and I understand if you say no, but could you put any editable materials in a copyable level? That'd be very kind and helpful.2010-01-19 22:10:00

Thought you might want to know that there is a gekko armour plate material with cardboard's properties hidden in one (/more?) of the MGS turret objects (the pop-up one I think).2010-01-19 22:18:00

People won't thank your post if you ask them too no matter how kindly you ask... if you want to get thanked say something useful but don't ask.

ON TOPIC: Wow thanks that's really useful!

Great find! Thanks for sharing this! Now all the soft glitched materials I have are editable. Only wish this would work on the "hard" materials. Any suggestions on how to make them editable?2010-01-23 16:38:00
