Awesome! Can't wait to try this. Your sky levels are really great, please don't stop making them. I would suggest that you change the colours sometimes though, to avoid them all looking the same. 2010-01-17 19:13:00

Just got done playing it 2-player.

The visuals are gorgeous, and the gameplay continued to be fun and interesting.

5-Star and hearted.

Amazing graphic. I real like the wind effect and unique ideas. the only bad thing is there are some visible emitter. Also, you can make real rain with water by putting a line of thin layer material attached with a piston to dark matrer with 0.1 spedd minminum length 0. It might not work though because you have to be quite close to the material2010-01-17 19:34:00

Excellent wind and rain effects. No problems encountered at all but the area with the wheels is a little tricky multiplayer. Loved it though Jump_Button. 5 stars & hearted! Your best work yet!2010-01-18 00:17:00

The wheels with the grab material you have to turn to get the lights to turn green. Sorry if that was vague before. It's not something you did btw, It's just the nature of four players at various heights with the balloons that makes it a bit tricky in that part. 2010-01-18 19:13:00

Excellent level once again my friend.
I've been pleased and delighted to play it. You knew how to make it interesting again and that's what counts I guess.
Simple, original, fun, distinctive style. Several things many creator aren't able to pull off together.

Awesome level jump_button! Some really fun stuff in there, I really loved the rain effects although it did make the game slow down a little, or were you going for that kind of effect? Awesome visuals as usual, I love your use of the 3D layer glitch, It gives you the feeling that the environment you are in is massive, which it definitely should. My only suggestion for your sky series is try not to use the balloon gameplay mechanic as much for future levels, it belongs to the rain factory levels; this is all assuming that you are going to do more sky levels.

:star::star::star::star::star: and heart from me. Good job.

Lovely, as always. I especially loved how you did the rain and the way the clouds looked behind it. Very nice visuals.

I did run into one little problem. The section with the strong updraft winds didn't seem to work for a few minutes. And when it did, we just got stuck in the air not able to move upwards anymore before falling back into the gas underneath. o.O After a second try, it worked like normal. I was playing with friends at this point in time so that might've caused an issue.

This is a cut and paste from my post in your thread on lbw. The threads in the promotion zone over there never seem to get much attention.

Just played both rain factory levels and loved them. But then I always like the skytown levels: something about the atmosphere just makes me happy.

I really liked the wind effect with the blowing leaves. Looked awesome. My only quibble with it was that you could hear the "wind" hitting the ground/walls. Sounded like snow paper? If you put a sound effect on the wind object and set it to go off on impact, it'll completely replace the normal impact sound. Maybe using the gust of wind sound would work, but it might get obnoxious if too many were going off at once.

One other thing was that it was easy to slip past the checkpoints without triggering them and without noticing that they weren't triggered (something about a big balloon blocking my view of it). Might be worth adding in prox switches to trigger the checkpoints.

I really enjoyed the scenery, especially the factory off in the background. Looked awesome. And the music fit perfectly, except maybe the wilderness music. It's not like it was bad, it's just that the other music fits the skytown mood perfectly and the wilderness one didn't so much. But then, it can be tough finding just the right music in the limited selection Mm gave us, so maybe it is the best available.

Nice level again Jump, but I didnt expect anything less to be honest. Great visuals and gameplay, fun from start to end. The rain looked awesome, and the leave blowing effect was superb (but you know all this )

Not much else to say, ***** and hearted.

Yep, nice little level once again. The blowing and rain effects were excellent. All the usual stuff is present and it all worked well.

I know you said in your OP that you think this will be your last Sky Town level, and I personally think that that's a good idea. While there's no doubt that they're all fun. I do think that you've pretty much done what you can with the theme and it is probably time to move on.

Definitely looking forward to what you come up with next

You gotta be one of the master's on the design side of things. I simply play your levels to marvel at!

My fave is the ICO one but this is another hit. I also agree, make this the last sky level.

Top marks

Ah, there's no reason that the skytown theme couldn't keep working for more levels. Not that I'm advocating making more: I'm happy with what there is now and I can certainly understand being tired of making the same them all the time. If you did make more, I would jump at the chance to play them, though.2010-01-20 23:07:00

Take your pictures with the sticker tool and press square to put in on your HDD, then take a jumpdrive and put the pics on a computer.2010-01-21 00:30:00

Brilliant art direction helped elevate the game play in this level to new heights (no pun intended). This is one of those levels that you show off to those unfortunate enough to not own LBP that almost anything can be done if you simply imagine it. Overall amazing work and good job with expanding on the game play.

PS. I loved your character designs.
