Sack actions!

Archive: 20 posts

We all love how sackboys/girls act right? how cute they look when theyre mad? But wat if we took this to another level?
I am suggesting that we should have a 4th action for each button!

Examples:
Mad: Fingers form rock signs and eyes shut!
Happy: Sackboy closes mouth and wiggles tounge around
Sad: Tears stream down Sackboy's face
Scared: Tounge flaps wildly in mouth and arms shake!

These are MY ideas, but i want to hear your wild ideas!

I don't mind a 4th emotion action, though, it might get too much when you are looking for the right emotion, for some players.2010-01-17 11:23:00

I think we should stick to the 3 to be honest- though a couple could be edited.
The sad emotions would be the same only with a few differences:
-First would be the same as before...
-Second would have tears welling up
-Third would, like you said have tears running down their cheeks. ;(

The 3rd mad too could have really heavy breathing- and the shoulders being moved up and down a little...GRRR etc etc XD

All sorts! Check this video to see what all they can do: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CgAeE6WSsFY It's adorable and there's been many occasions where I could've done these actions on the PS3 version lol.

Ha! cute!
What if they put the in as bonus emotions, replace the L1 button thing with "bonus emotion" Hold L1 and press the pads to do those actions.
put the Old L1 button thing on R3, we dont use R3 at all

A better idea would be this:

The holder you press down a button on the D-Pad, the more intense the emotion gets.

For example, press the Left button on the D-Pad, and you are barely shaking, with your lip starting to form the worried expression.
Tap it again, and you shake a little more, and your mouth is a wee bit open.
Hold it down however, and you will be shaking and scared like no tomorrow!

And you could make it less intense by pressing the opposite D-pad button. For example, we are the most intensed version of worried. Then you tap the right button on the D-pad. You shake less, and your mouth barely starts to close. Hold it down, and you will go back to neutral. Then, hold it down again and get steaming angry (steam out of the ears anyone?).

This would open up a whole new level of emotions and acting

Those are some really cool ideas. I've had some ideas as well, but not emotion-related. I was thinking that if you press R3 with your Popit closed, you would sit down. This would come in handy, because you could sit down when tired or when on a couch/chair/etc. And if you pressed it again, you would lay down. That could come in handy too! Also, I'm sure everyone agrees it would be cool if you, maybe, pressed R3 and L3 together and you could close/open your eyes...imagine the picture possiblities that would open up! "The Sleepy Sack" A sack lying down on a luxury bed, eyes closed and all...or "Dead Sack", sack lying down, eyes closed, on the floor! There are lots more ideas to this, I'm sure. The problem is just getting MM to realize and add the ones that are really cool and deserve to be available to all sacks!2010-02-06 06:24:00

A better idea would be this:

its not good if you start off like that... it makes people feel like their idea is being compleetly ignored.

some people might not think thats a "better idea" the way you do... so just say somthing like "it would be cool" or "i think that it should"... you know?

id like them to add a feature to make your own custom action, and do it by pressing L2 and R2 at the same time... or L3 and R3.

like you could make him dance or you could make him wobble... or just somthing random.... like a seisure!

(sorry for double posting)
