Just played it with Javi and mrsupercomputer, and we really enjoyed it.

We ran into a few problem areas, but it was mostly good things. You have a piece of fire on the area with 3 sponges controlled by chains on grab switches that is not glued down. They loved the "glitch" to get across the bridge, and the new Miner guy looks great. I'll be sure to play again when it releases.

During the bomb hand-off (awesome, btw) can you make the left chain any bit longer and the right one shorter? It seemed like the the right person was doing all the work.

Yeah, I really liked this! There were some great ideas, like grabbing the other Sackboy to get across the bridge and the bomb hand off. Very cool and I'd love to see more of that! Maybe some bomb hand offs with hazards to dodge! The level looked good too. Nice, clean, and very much like the style of the Mm canyon levels, which is good!

There is another issue that Compher forgot to mention. The elevator after the bomb hand off... at least I think it was after that. It's a lift that requires each player to grab a sponge. For some reason, the lift would get stuck halfway up... were we overlooking something here?

Anyway, with the exception of those few instances, I thought the level was top notch. It just needs a bit more polish here and there. Nice Work!

I found out whats causing your luck problem...

YOU KEEP THE DANG CLOVER HANGIN IN YOUR PIEHOLE ALL DAY! Take it out and hold it sometime! It will work trust me =P

On a serious note, the level desreves better than the rateing it has been given, this is just another example of the extremely flawed cool levels system.

Hiya, me, clarie and Luos just played your level and even though we were 3 players and not 2 we really enjoyed it. I love co - op levels anyway, and this was definately one of the best. It was particularly impressive that you had a variety in the co -op challenges, and we especially liked the glitch bridge.

In terms of looks we didnt feel there was particularly anything very original, but Luos commented that the scenery looked like MM levels so what you did was very good. Your characters were fantastic, they really were original looking and very well made.

Really the only thing I would change, is I would have preferred to work out how to do everything myself rather than being told by magic mouths. I know this is a hard call to make, because equally people will complain if they get stuck and don't know what to do.

Anyway, well done and hopefully the ratings will pick up soon!
If you are doing F4F could you check out our level, in sig?

Sure thing. I did only put in the magic mouths to help people out. Paticularily with the more original sections. eg. Pass the bomb.. The glitch bridge.. You know a lot of players would be confused. And it is a hard call to make. But I believe there is more people on lbp to be confused than there is to be over informed. If you know what I mean...2010-01-17 21:49:00

Me and Spooky just had a run-through. We both really enjoyed it. There was a good mix of co-op obstacles and nicely worked out sections. Like some have said, the bridge was fun and the level had a good flow to it.

The winch bridge that mrsupercomputer mentioned did indeed stop a little short. We had to jump on TOP of the grab sponges to be able to continue. Maybe shorten their minimum length a tad?

Overall, good stuff and well presented. Thank you.

(Don't worry about F4F )

I told him about that and the elevator should be fixed if that's what you're talking about.
But yeah, unfairly rated deserves at least 4 stars. After my multiple playthroughs with different people we saw a few more areas that are glitchy but the visuals are top notch and you have a really good shot at winning from my perspective. Hopefully by the end of today you will end up with some better ratings. Just people rating stupidly.

Oh adn the characters were awesome, the ending was good.

yea the magic mouths kinda made the puzzles not being puzzles anymore.
(me and adi/clara played together).

My only complaint was..
Change the music..
it was the same music.. over.. and over.. and over again.
Please.. change that.

that was my only real point of critique.
overall a nice MM feel co-op level i might play again with my friends later today.

As mrSC and Comphermc said, we had lots of fun in this one!
I was very impressed by the visuals and the clever use layers. I liked how each player had to go in different paths and yet it didn't disrupt the pace of the game. At first I was a bit worried that it wasn't going to work with 3 players, but it turned out for the best. We had a blast with the simple yet effective puzzles, especially the 2-man grab bridge thingy. Making a level fun is one of the hardest things to do, and you pulled it off perfectly; this level has great replay value in my opinion. I saw the same flaws than mrSC and compher since we played together but, once you fix those it'll be one of the funnest tag-team levels out there. Great job!

I played this with 3 others and we all loved the level, it's definitely the best co-op level I've played, even better than Industrial Assistance, although that level was more "professional" looking.

Anyways, I thought the gameplay was really original which I always like seeing, especially when lots of levels use the same gameplay elements over and over again, it was refreshing for sure. The characters were all beautifully made and very detailed as well. The look of the level was equally as beautiful, I mean it's kinda hard to screw up a Canyons type level on the visuals side.

We had no problems with anything at all, nothing broke and everything worked fine. The only thing I didn't like was that I thought the background seemed too foggy, I suggest reducing the fog to no fog and changing the "fog color" to something darker.

5 Stared and a Heart.

Ive spent ages typing in feedback on the ps3 and then its deleted the lot. That shift backspace is a bad idea on the keypad

Anyway me and Olit just finished it. Awesome level, great visuals, well designed and some great coop stuff. I loved the pass the parcel with the bombs the best. This deserves much plays and recognition.

***** and hearted. Great work

I thought it was really good. It all played through well other than the few issues people have found. It is a good level, nothing spectacular or greatly original, but a fun 2 player experience. And is what LBP is all about, fun!

Some of the 2 player areas were pretty standard and were a bit too, 'you open this up for me, and that'll let me open that up for you' at times. And while the visuals were good, there's no doubt they're quite simple and have been done many times before, which is what takes a bit of the originality out of it.

There were some really good gameplay parts in it that hadn't been seen before...I just feel the level needed a few more of them to be add that little bit of 'specialness' to it.

Overall though, it's no doubt it's great fun and a well made level! Good work you two!

Have you thought about republishing the level? It deserves more than it's current 3 Star rating, you could do what Jack did with Industrial Assistance and make the players go through a level which contains the key (that can only be collected by having 2 or more players) in order to play the main level.2010-01-19 22:26:00

I played your level with Miglioshin some days ago, and find it very fun and engaging.
It has very cool co op mechanics, but at the same time, that's a pity that it's a 2 player only.
The visual are cool and very MM-ish, and that's a pro and a con at the same time.
I loved the puzzles as much as I hated the story
I particularly liked the idea of the bridge puzzle and loved the bomb passing.
I say that I liked the idea because I didn't like the realization.
I'm not a fan of the glitches, since they confuse the player and make things not clear.
I thought that while you walk over the bridge you emitted grappable invisible material under the bridge, so, while the idea kicks @**es, it's not clear at all what you have to do.
Anyway the level is great and deserves 5 stars and a heart, definitively a worthy competitor.
Please F4F on the level I did with Miglioshin "Deep Under The Snow", published under Miglioshin's profile.

Played this at 3 am this morning. Had a great time. It was the kind of level that left you with a feeling of accomplishment instead of frustration. Loved the fact that the players had to cooperate.
The only drawback is that it does requires 2 players. I would have been disappointed to have missed out on this level if I hadn't had someone to play it with me.
Great fun, great level!

Played it last night with my sister.. fantastic! Really some of the best co-op fun I've had, just in time too; my sister was getting annoyed by the single player levels

Of course, I echo the masses when I say I really enjoyed the bridge. The pacing of the level was great, the challenges balanced. My sister claims that it's too short ("There HAS to be more!") but I found it nicely done. Use of layers was fantastic too. Visuals were stunning, you captured the feel of the canyons perfectly. If there was anything wrong in this level, I can't remember it. I'm pretty sure there wasn't, but I played this at midnight, so yeah.

5 stars, tagged Brilliant!

I think I hearted it, not sure

Agreed.

I understand why you made it this way, to stop the left player simply throwing the bombs over the wall, but it definitely don't seem 'balanced' at that part.

Wow! I only say this, is very well done and really is cooperative, is a fun and very competitive level, we were pleased my wife and I were very entertained and yes they achieved that need each other, is perfect to play this level and have fun, Campirano design is well recreated as the two characters are very well represented, I liked the part of the bridge.

Congratulations did a very good job, we have given :star::star::star::star::star:

:O This is looking quite epic, and by what people say here its gotta be some immense fun... Will be playing it tomorrow or so and I'll let ya know then.
Also to prevent the player from being over-informed you could simply add a sponge, or something, somewhere with the word "Help?" on it, which when grabbed would trigger the magic mouth.
But that could cut a little on your visual aspect of the game if not pulled of properly. I'm pretty sure you can pull it off though. Also, make it so the sponges are in no way related with the puzzle itself, what I mean is, put them somewhere 'distant' from the puzzle itself so that the player will not accidentally grab it thinking it's a part of the puzzle.

I hope I'm not just speaking gibberish here...

Anyways, looking forward to playing this level.
