If your Favourite Creators were Bands, what would they be?

Says it all in the title...

(Eg. Wexfordian would be.. um.. Snow Patrol? )

GruntosUK would probably be Dream Theater. His levels are epic, tell a story and come in many parts. Although I don't think Dream Theater have any songs about Mars or Siberia. 2010-01-12 13:29:00

Hmmm....

I think NinjaMicWZ would be 'AC/DC'
Morgana25 would be 'The Moody Blues'
Wexfordian would be 'U2'
MrsSpookyBuz would be 'The Beatles'
Venamiera would be 'Yes'
TheGide would be 'Vertical Horizon'

These are not all my favorites, just the ones I can somehow associate to bands.

CuzFeeshe = "Rage against the Machine" - Gets you in a panic, worked up, and aggitated.... yet you can't stop listening to them again and again.

xkappax = "Jewel" - geddit??

Jaeyden = Beatles (later period) - Colourful, trippy, magical mystery tour.

Jolly Rajah = Kraftwerk (or any German hardcore techno)

I was going to say the Grateful Dead for Jaeyden, but I didn't, because I hate the Grateful Dead. The beatles is a much more apt analogy, though.

FULLGORR would be Weird Al Yankovic.

I thought of another one. I think Poms would probably be Sonic Youth. They do "art rock" and "Miracle of Life" is one of the most artistic levels I've ever played.2010-01-12 15:08:00

Wexfordian = Snow Patrol?

So you're trying to say that Wex's level are empty, boring, and make you fall asleep? I don't think he'll be happy with that!

Could be worse, at least you didn't say he's Coldplay

lol Coxy. I may be old but I'm still strong enough to smash my lute over yer bonce!

And Lady GaGa? A band? Crikey, I thought a band had to be more than one member and at least show some kind of musical prowess. It seems I'm wrong, and not for the first time.

@ Coxy - you are so naughty...... it's hilarious.

@ MrsSpookyBuz - I totally agree, Moody Blues seems like an awesome thing to be - I just don't get it. lol. So let's see in my world MrsSpookyBuz would be like Queen. Deep selections and varied but always rocking and fun. Fullgorr - certainly Weird Al Yankovich, and I adore Weird Al btw. CCubbage is like Nine Inch Nails - always hard rocking and pushing boundries. Comphermc is rapidly becoming the Depeche Mode of creators in my world - I love all he's done, it's always cool and has an element of thinkage to it. Ungreth is easy - The Cure, for obvious reasons. Now if I could just find a Ministry creator out there.....

AC/DC works for me

I could easily be the Chili Peppers though, when they do stuff like Under the Bridge and Soul to Squeeze... or Bjork lol - AesopROCK maybe?

ould be Devo... just seems right
Jaeyden... I agree with wexfordian... yellow subs, lucy in the sky, number 8 et al
wexfordian would be Tool... think the way Tool's videos were ahead of the industry in terms of presentation and coolness
MrsSpookyBuzz... Dragonforce, because her levels usually run at a breakneck pace and keep you moving
IceMaiden... Taylor Swift, when she was a nice, humble girl so rudely interrupted by some jerk, but is now quite popular and very appreciated
CENTURION24 would be Mims... "this is why I'm hot"
GruntosUK... dropkickmurphy mixed with George Thorogood
Vanemiera... Rammstein
Voltiare... that one guy that did that one song a long time ago
sighwhatever... he could be Nirvana, cause of angst and suicide theme, but he's not popular enough
OIL_ ... Nobuo Uematsu
OCK - Young MC... for Bust-a-Move
jackofcourse... Lil Wayne... 3 peat, 3 peat - one of the only person always going platinum, in a world gone Hannah Montana
jump_button... Company Flow
Morgana... En Vogue... no wait, Erykah Badu - that probably only makes sense to me
mrsupercomputer... Steve Vai

I'll try and think of more for some of the others.

Morgana, I have no idea who that is, but I do like folk music. I"ll check her out.

I know that if I could pick a band for Larry and I to be, it would definitely be Soul Asylum. Dave Pirner is a great lyricist and Dan Murphy is a great guitarist, but on their own, neither is as strong as they are together.

And ninja, lol. the Who. That's funny.

Lol, I'd think I be 'The Velvet Underground' then. Thanks for your post!

On a side note, talking of bananas is making me hungry, you can have banana pie and banana cake which is 'mmmmmmmmmmmmm' and after this I've got several banana parties to attend where we 'discuss' private bana.. I mean matters. I've heard that bananas can also cure cancer.
Uhh, all the talk of bananas is making me feel ill.

Edit: I'd think I'd be the who then. Haha.

Sorry... I was out of town since I wrote that comment. Here's why I chose "The Moody Blues":

Your levels are artistic, well crafted, intelligent, and generally weave a nice story in with them.... seemed like a good fit.

Back in the 60's and early 70's they created incredible concept albums that formed songs of many different tempos into really cohesive albums... which reminded me of the Chromostone chronicles series - which started beautiful and slow, and built into a fantastic finale.

Good enough?

Wow.... I was waiting for several days until I was at a computer where I could hear audio to listen to the "CuzFeeshe and Geosautus" tune.... it intrigued me first of all because I've never heard us compared (he's the epitome of popular creator, and I'm the epitome of making people want to break their TV's), but I totally dug that tune!

Then I listened to the Russelmussels one.... wow, that has to be the most piercing, irritating music I've ever heard. I had to take the headphones off so my brain wouldn't spasm.

Great stuff!
