soo was anyone else disappointed by one or two levels on the GOTY edition of LBP? i don't want to say which ones they were but just curious

i mean i don't think they are stupid just wonder why were they chosen they didn't seem "good enough" i guess gosh that sounds so mean but idk how else to put it

I think they all meet some standard of quality that its decent enough to put them there but they really aren't the community's best stuff. The levels are getting old (almost a year soon) so it's normal the community stuff since some months actually surpassed this. I think Media Molecule included levels that are diverse at least. This gives an idea of range of ideas you see online. .

Excluding about 2 or 3 levels all of them are pretty bad, this has to do with their age and they definitely aren't each authors' best efforts.

haha i feel a bit better about posting this now hah i thought i was harsh for saying 1 or 2 levels were bad you say 2 or 3 were the only good ones :/ haha its all good it never occured to me about the age of them tho

Lol, don't be afraid to share your opinions, it's a forum afterall. As for the age of the levels, I recall the creators being asked back in March 2009 to be a part of this. It's known that they were paid money which made me even more disappointed with the quality of the levels, it's also clear that they could have been tested a lot more.

I know my must look out dated with water now in LBP lol and keep in mind most was made way back in May 2009

you have to think though the Mm levels on the disc and the MGS levels dont suffer from quality and they were made in 2008.
